Does not fit iPhone 6S Plus with a Lifeproof case.
Does not fit iPhone 6S Plus with a Lifeproof case. It's just a 1/8 or so too small. I'm sure it's a great little hood, but I don't use it because I would rather protect my device and not have to take it out of it's case overtime I use the drone.

Helps out on sunny days
Got this for use with my Samsung Galaxy phone. Helps out on those sunny days when there is just too much glare. It is a hassle to put it on but in the end it is worth it to be able to see the screen.

A must have
When flying your drone outside, this is a must have. Extremely well made for the money. Collapses easily into case. I also use one for my iPad mini Cannot effectively fly using my iPad mini without this thing. iPads glare horrifically and this hood takes care of that....... In a day where everything is usually over priced, I cannot compliment cost to benefit ratio enough!

Great Sun Shield for iPhone 6
Fast shipping even without expediting. Sturdy construction, not cardboard (though it may be inside the plastic skin). Comes in a classy DJI box, folds readily and slips onto the DJI 3 Advanced controller beautifully. iPhone 6 holds it in place after you clamp the phone down. Now I can see the screen when it's sunny out when flying the drone.

Excellent at keeping the image viewable
Depending on where your drone is in the sky, there are times it is critical that you can see the DJI App running on your phone or tablet. If you're out on a sunny day, these shades make it totally possible to see what your drone is seeing in the brightest sunshine. HIGHLY recommended.

Velcro
I like the fit of this unit and over collapsibility. However, the velcro that comes sewn on it that doesn't hold very well and comes apart. I will probably have to do something different.

Fits Well Does the job
It is a sun shade so not all that technical. The price is comparable and its a DJI product. Would have given 5 stars if the material were heavier but it works.

Nice hood
Works great but keep in mind that if you own iPhone 6S plus with a heavy case like the lifeproof the hood doesn't quite fit. Personally, I ended up using some cinefoil.

Perfect!!!
It works perfect with my iPhone 6 Plus, it fits like a glove in the controller and the leather construction feels really good and durable. It Collapses super slim and it makes it easier to store it anywhere.

Manufacturers Fault
As is usual and typical of products for smartphones, the items are usually a little too small with the device in a case, and I believe just about everyone uses one.Would be better if they were a little TOO big for the purpose.

Works great!
The shield works great blocking enough light so that the screen is no washed out. A really big help when viewing the screen in very bright sunlight. The shield folds down flat for easy storage and easily unfolds and mounts onto the remote controller easily and without any fuss.
