Problems
I've had no end of trouble with this thing. It takes on DP input. I Bought an HDMI to DP cable and spent three days on various chat lines trying to get it to work. Gave up and bought a USB 3.1 to DP converter that gets it working, but now the USB hub isn't doing anything. No mouse and no keyboard. Since I only have two USB ports on my PC, I'm sort of stuck. BTW. Dell chat support sucks big time.

No HDR
The 8k is glorious but the fact that this native 10 bit panel doesn't have enough nits to do any kind of HDR is a real deal breaker for us.

Not disappointed in Dell
I purchased this monitor as an open box. This typically means that it was never/slightly used and should be nearly perfect. It wasnt. There is horizontal lines that flash at the bottom of the screen. I was forced to call Dell who gladly fixed my issue and are sending a replacement unit, but B&H needs to do a more thorough review before labeling items as open box instead of unusable.

I also had the back light glow as well on the corners! I sent both back. I was disappointing. The resolution was great!

Great at first...
When this display arrived - it was an epiphany. Easily the most impressive jump in screen technology I have witnessed in 20 years. However, after just 4 weeks, a line of dead pixels appeared down the middle of the screen. Since I am based in Australia - this was a major nuisance. B&H were very accommodating though and paid for return shipping. I did however lose the customs fees and original shipping when I was refunded - about $1,000 in total wh... Show More

As perfect as money can buy
The image is perfect. I upgraded from a 5K iMAC running Windows in Bootcamp. Comparing the two monitors side by side, I am not really able to see the difference due to the higher resolution. Perhaps people with better eye sight could see it, but they would have to get close. The reason I upgraded is because a 27 monitor does not have enough room to show all the documents I work with simultaneously at a comfortable font size. If someone made a 32 ... Show More
