Quiet, inexpensive DAC with latency-free monitoring
I needed an inexpensive means to connect a wireless lav to my laptop for field work. Which works as advertised. Nice and quiet, latency free monitoring. Powerful clear sound, easy to use
My pc's original sound blaster soundcard had some issues like there was a major delay when speaking into a mic and wearing headphones which can make it very hard to speak. I stuck the Play 3 in my usb slot stuck the wires in it and it was working. I definitely recommend downloading the software for it that allows you to tweak the sound. My headphones have deep powerful bass for the first time thanks to this! (use quality mic & extension cables like RODE SC1/SC2/VC1)

Works like a champ!
Delivered quickly and this thing provides a strong signal for my headphones. I have to turn the volume down about as low as it will go. That's my only complaint, too loud.
