This was well-rated, so I purchased it. Disappointed. It is heavy, not well made, and is clunky. I don't use it. Look elsewhere.

Decent Cage
It's a good cage. The top handle is a little loose but still secure. There are only two shoe mounts, not three as it looks in the product image. Also it does not come with a 1/4 20 screw to actually attach to your GH4. If you plan on using the 15mm rod system you'll need to file down the head of your screw in order for it to work. I had to go to a hardware store and have someone grind the head all the way down.

I also have some other gear from Came, great. This cage is well balanced for handheld shooting, it is possible to install a lot of accessories in various positions. It is superbly well finished. The cage can be quickly detached from the fluid head with a precisely engineered quick release lock. It is the must have for your GH4. Furthermore, the GH4 is well protected, all doors and connectors can be accessed easily and the lock for your HDMI cable is very handy. The handle is nicely positioned and easy to work with.

does the job
I spent a great deal of time trying to figure out a cheap cage solution for my GH4 as they are all pretty pricey. This one appeared to be the best solution. The design handles the anti-twist aspect of the camera well. I can use my redrock micro follow focus with this. The handle is hard to get out of the hotshoe but I am assuming that will get easier.
