Works Great With iPad!
So far after 1 week of ownership keyboard is working great with iPad! Folds up neatly into iPad.

Didn't last
The keyboard fits so close to the screen that it is a bit hard to use; but is a definite improvement over the on-screen keyboard. However, it quit working about 2 years after it was purchased. A check with Apple support showed that Apple was aware of the keyboard problem and had extended the warranty to three years.

I wouldnt buy it back, the Logitech or other competitive products perform and last much better!

Great Keyboard but not the Money
When all is said done, the Apple keyboard remains the most reliable and convenient. However, the price is exorbitant.

Bad design
In less than a year I have four keys with letters completely worn off, with another three to four about half gone.!!!

Great combination of protection and convenience
I have the 12.9 IPad Pro with keyboard and bought the 10.5 set-up for my wife. Love the feel, size, weight, and protection. The keyboard is almost full-size. They made the outer function keys (tab, caps lock, shift, delete, return) shorter to fit the keyboard, keeping the alphanumeric keys full-size.

Super combination of keyboard and screen cover
I was somewhat hesitant when I read a number of reviews knocking this smart keyboard, but ultimately decided to give it a try. I love it. I don't have to mess around with special charging procedure; it just works. And, most importantly, it's light and easy to use in all its functions: as a keyboard; as a screen cover; and as an iPad stand. Well done!

New keyboard
Again, the service from B&H was wonderful. I have been using a Logitech keyboard which had developed a personality. Once, I figured out how to use the Apple product it is an improvement as it is not a quirky. It is somewhat folding Oragami but friendly enough. Could use a holder for the Apple pen

Great while it works
Just short of the one year warranty, the arrow keys are no longer working. Great that I was still in the warranty period. Had it happened a few weeks later I would have had to buy another one. This item is too expensive to have to replace yearly and should last more than a year.

Simple and Reliable
My Apple keyboard works flawlessly. The required key pressure is perfect and it is more comfortable to use that I expected for the small size. The only missing feature that I would like is backlit keys. Due to the laid back angle of the screen, the iPad does not put off enough light to see the keys in low-light situation like a notebook would. This is not so handy for dim cabins as you have to use the ready light and irritate other passengers on night flights.

Apple Keyboard
The keyboard attaches well to iPad and covers the screen when folded and closed. It was difficult to find a back cover. Most covers are fro the whole iPad and few are out for the new 10.5 size. I ended up going to the Apple store and spending $85 for a clear backing--this was all they had. That backing made it heavier but it is good protection.

I purchased the iPad for traveling to minimize weight. On a recent trip abroad, the iPad would repeatedly lose connection to the keyboard, requiring turning off and re-booting the iPad every time. It gets annoying quickly. When I called Apple tech support, the girl on the end of the line didn't know that Apple is selling a keyboard for the iPad...SERIOUSLY! Only after arguing with me for a while she went to her supervisor to find out that I was right. Really hard to believe, right?

Does the job
If you do writing on your iPad other than email or messages, a keyboard will make the job easier. I bought this because it doesn't need separate charging it's powered by the iPad. Unlike other users, I didn't notice any wobbling on a flat surface; it sits flat and sturdy on table tops, desks etc. Using it on your lap, though, isn't great. About the unfolding and refolding: you get the hang of it quickly. About the keys: I use a late 2016 MBP (15), and I got used quickly to the slightly smaller size fo the keyboard. In short: recommended.

A must have accessory for productivity
I am new to using the ipad for productivity. I have had an ipad mini 2 for a while, but the 10.5 is the first one in the regular sized ipad venue. With the mini, I wouldn't be able to comfortably use it for productivity because of the size and my eyes are getting older. OK, I think this is largely a matter of expectations going in. A must have for iPad Pro productivity!
This has been a terrific keyboard, while a shorter throw than say a MacBook keyboard, it is quickly adapted too. I am typing up this review on my 10.5 pro with this keyboard. Basically if you regularly type anything more than a brief message on your pro, this is going to be a major time saver.

Helpful and useful
The keyboard really enhances the usability of the iPad. I am a little concerned that the connection to the keyboard is eventually going to wear out as I keep the keyboard on my iPad the whole time as protection. Exactly What I Was Looking For
I wanted a keyboard that provided the least amount of bulk and also easily taken off. I like to use my iPad without a case at home but use a keyboard at work. Other larger keyboard case options are a pain to put on and take off but this one gives me the flexibility to do both. Typing on it is very pleasant and I think the keys have a good amount of travel for the size of the keyboard. I have begun to enjoy typing more on this than on standard desktop keyboards.

Great product! Love the feel of the keyboard!
I used other keyboards, and couldn't type on them. This feels just like a real keyboard. When closed, the magnets work perfectly to keep it secure, you'd never even known you had a keyboard!
