1st Mac
Very pleased to find this Mac mini at B&H. They had a great selection in stock. Ordering was simple and it arrived two days later. I already had an iPhone, iWatch and iPad, so my Apple culture is complete now. Took me a few days to get used to the differences from my Windows PC but have adjusted very well.

Fast/customizable
Upgraded from iMac to Mac Mini with customized set-up for music production, 16gb, i5 is fast enough for me as of right now. I recommend doing a bit of research in terms of i5 vs. i7 before purchasing. Overall, excellent and quick delivery from B&H. Thanks again B&H!

Awesome power for the price
This Mac mini is a great base to upgrade on. Tax, AppleCare, and everything for under $1,550. And added 3rd party RAM to 64 gigs!! Easy to do. Support 4K monitors out of the box! Great way to break into video editing, photo editing, and podcasting. When I need more processing power for editing I can upgrade the house with and external. Love it. Oh, and B&H can save you the tax too, just ask theyll help you.

Very happy to have this now
I have been using a 4 years old MacBook which was connected to 27 NEC display. Because I experienced the some in convenience with this combination, I got this Mac mini and I am very happy with it since then. It's considerably faster and with larger RAM, my photo editing job get much easier not.

Nice Computer
This was an upgrade to the 2011 Mac Mini. Not only is it faster due to the better processor and 16 GB RAM, I like the USB-C ports.

Outstanding Performance And Space Saver
I love my Mac mini, it's the first Mac I have ever bought after having used them in various forms since the early 1980s. I bought the i7/8GB/256SSD package and later upgraded the memory, it was easy!!! Can't recommend highly enough!!

Great Machine
Been on the market for a new Mac Mini for a while and finally ordered this one. Maxed out the work I could on my Macbook Pro for music and video production and needed a workhorse machine. Computer does a great job handling a lot of work and it fits nicely with my limited desk space.

I ran the computer for a few days, did a full manual set-up to more-or-less match my ancient Mac Pro (2008) on which I run Adobe CC photographers bundle but could not upgrade to the 2020 version. Small but ready for anything
I bought my mini with the Core i7, 8GB RAM, and the 1 TB SSD. I replaced the RAM with 32GB and added an external 2 TB disk to use with Time Machine. After a little misadventure, I managed to trash the OS to where it would not boot nor could I boot to the recovery OS. I tried a lot of things with no success, but I got distracted and when I came back it was re-installing Catalina from the network. That's almost as good as having an idiot button. ... Show More

Replacement for 2012 mac mini
My 2012 Mac Mini was nearing end of life. As a long time Mac user I wanted a desktop mac with at either 1TB SSD or 2 TB Fusion. No such options for the mac mini and the iMacs with that much storage are astronomical. So I went with the 512 SSD Mac Mini i3/8MB Ramand migrated my data to a NAS. Overall its working well. So Touchy!
The good news is yes, it is fast very fast. It's sleek and small. It seems durably made. The bad news is, as some others have said, connectivity and the MISERABLE wifi thing. I immediately realized I would only be able to use a USB mouse and keyboard, and that only 1 of my firewire connectors would go to Thunderbolt. Why I shop B&H for Apple
Getting the exact configuration you want and nothing you don't with a factory Apple product is such a great thing when you've got insane markups on SSD's and memory. These latest gen Mac minis are a real return to form. Amazing package for the price, it's a very capable computer for DAW work if you don't want to plunk down 4g's for a Mac Pro.
