Almost the perfect tool
Ive never been a Macbook fan until a couple of years ago when I got a MacbookPro 2015 Retina from my workplace. Touch Bar is lame
I got the new MBP because my old one is a 2014-vintage, and thought it was time to upgrade to the latest and greatest. My big concern was the soft escape key, and loss of function keys with the Touch Bar. The loss of the physical escape key for me has been devastating; I'm a heavy vi user. Super light and a real powerhouse!
I am a photographer and debated the iMac Pro or MacBook Pro. While not as powerful, I do not regret what I do not have and love the added mobility the laptop brings. Everything is super fast and the SED SSD is a added bonus for me.

coming from a 2012 MBP, this is amazing
coming from a 2012 macbook pro 13" with non-retina display, this thing is amazing. plus with a clean install of Mojave its super fast, nearly 4X faster with multicore processes. I love that its so thin and nearly the same size as my old 13" but the screen is so much bigger. I didnt think I would really use the touchbar but its actually pretty handy. A Terrible Computer for Actual Work
I bought this computer because my 2011 MacBook Pro 17 inch died. The only good thing about it is that it is very fast, but as a practical matter only slightly faster than my 2011 computer with an SSD installed. I received this MacBook Pro as a gift and...I hate it!!! The new comically big trackpad is an absolute pain. I click and click and click and nothing happens! The touch bar/control strip is a bit strange and takes some getting used to, but it actually seems to make tasks require more clicks. Great for a photographer shooting tethered a lot!
I got this to replace my late 2013 MBP 15 ( i7 quad core 16gb ram retina ) and so far it has been amazing. My old one was still fast and ran great but I figured it was time for an upgrade because I use it very heavily and I had the means currently. I got the 32GB RAM 15" model since you can't upgrade in the future. This MacBook Pro is great if you have the money. I can see that it will last for a long time. Cons: - price. It's very expensive especially if u get the 32GB model.

Everything you need in a serious laptop
Everything is great-processor, speed, display, ssd, touchbar. I'm getting used to the shorter throw keyboard, but it feels nice and solid. Build quality is awesome and Touch ID works flawlessly. I sold my iMac as this MacBook Pro is about twice as powerful. Pricey, but worth it. The only downside is that I needed to purchase a dongle to use my usb drives. But since everything is going usb-c, this machine will continue to be relevant for many years. Very pleased. Oh and B&H is fantastic. Great prices, fast shipping. The best!

2018 15" mbp
Great machine! Not the cheapest one you can buy, but very fast, superb screen. buying a good thunderbolt 3 to multi USB hub is a good move if you have scanners, drives, etc. ONE TB3 to DisplayPort cable works great driving a 4K 27" Dell monitor.

Great Product
I've only had the MacBook Pro for a couple of weeks, but it is performing well. It was easy to set up and transferring applications and data from a desktop computer via an external hard drive was easy.

I Got The Power
This is intended to replace the 2012 Mac Mini that I've been using to run my company (and produce a weekly podcast). In the first 2 weeks, it's been working great as a desktop replacement that I can also take to the living room. It's screamingly faster than that desktop, and the added screen real estate and bigger keyboard make it preferable to my 2017 12" MacBook.

Love my MacBook Pro 2018
I upgraded from a 2011 MacBook Pro and am overall very pleased with the new laptop. It's about a pound lighter, much faster, battery lasts most of the day, and has all the qualities that make me love Apple products. Since there is only one type of port, I had to buy a converter that plugs into the side ports so that I can plug in my external monitor and USB-A cables for about $100. Overall I'm very happy and would recommend this computer.

Best MacBook Pro I've used.
I've worked for many years on Mac and PC's. While each has their merits I can say without hesitation that this is the best MacBook Pro that I've ever used. It's powerful enough to run everything I throw at it and it's fast! I've not put its battery through all the tests thus far but for the limited amount of battery life I've used it's help up well. Portable, powerful and responsive. If your looking for a new MB Pro this is machine that you want to look at.
