I have a Panasonic smart TV purchased 5 years ago, and a Sony KDL-52VL150 purchased 2009. This one is the first 4K TV for us. My wife and I compared this one with LG OLED models, Sony X900E and Samsung NU8000 in the local store. We picked this one mainly because the picture quality and acceptable price. This is a great TV. I have an older Sony HD TV, which was very good, so I wasn't expecting much of an improvement, but I bought it after reading a lot of positive reviews for it. This time the hype was actually true. The 930E is the best TV I've ever owned. There isn't much 4K content to watch yet, but the upscaling it does even makes 480p (SD) look fantastic. Good value for price but...
Great picture, sometimes Software laggy. Internal Chromecast only works reliably with a wired connection. Great TV, 4K movies from 4K Blu-ray look gorgeous. TV looks very elegant. Caution: You need. Helper to mount this TV. It is very heavy and you risk damage to your TV and your back. The delivery was fast and the deliver guy brought it to my floor. Only sad point: I saw too late that the 2018 versions (E (2017) - F (2018)) are already out for just slightly more.

Great TV
The picture is super clear and the colors are fantastic. I had a Sony Wega TV that this replaced - thought that one had a great picture but this TV surpasses by a considerable margin. Very happy with my purchase. As others have said the blacks are great - as good or better than Plasma TVs. Highly recommend this one!
