Received this lens a few days ago new in box. That is all I got from Sony was just the lens not even a lens hood. Ordered two other Sony lens lens hoods where included with these lens and they where the same price. The lens works great and purchased my own lens hood. So buyer's beware of what you purchase.

Good to learn the basic.

This product comes with the kit Sony 58 and this have some enhancements overall in the engine, is more silent and smooth. It is good to learn the basic things about the Photography, you can do good portraits and close-ups. In low light issues don't work so well.
