A decent upgrade from G3
I've always preferred Sennheiser wireless mics because of their tough construction and good sound so when it came time to replace the wireless mics in our touring kit due to the spectrum theft Sennheiser was the first place I looked. Prone to EMF
I recently wrote a five star review but have used this system for a couple of months now and have found it picks up a lot of EMF noise from digital devices close to it. I have it in a rack directly under a Behringer Feedback exterminator. When the FBX is active, it generates a bit of noise that gets induced into the Sennheiser receivers audio section post-RF receiver. Rugged, high quality unit
Nice unit. Very well built, easy to use. But weve all come to expect that from the upper level Sennheiser stuff anyway. It is half rack design and I was able to mount it side by side with an older, Audio Technica 3000 series in my rack by only drilling one hole in the connector plate on bottom...fits nicely. Great sound quality with a few connectivity glitches
I bought this for a wireless version of the E935 microphone. It does tend to eat batteries - probably get about 10-15 hours best case for a pair of quality AA's. I had a situation where the batteries drained completely and upon replacement I had to not only replace the batteries but ended up factory resetting the microphone and resyncing it before I could get it to function properly again. Nice quality
Being forced to move to a lower frequency range is kind of unfair, but I must say that this Sennheiser setup is a nice improvement over our previous setup of a different brand. Very nice quality, and a good range when paired with the ASA 214-UHF Active Antenna Splitter. And the little lav mic works great!

Very clean
I've been using these mics for years and they have always been reliable. This system works great and gives me additional confidence in range and it's very easy to use. In addition to this combo system I bought 2 of the lavalier only systems and all 3 have been a great improvement over my earlier mics.

love this mic system with the added features over g3
Not sure why they sell the g3 still. This is a great replacement and love the sync feature. Get this one with the 935 head on the mic. Great mic element.
