Wow
I'm often impressed with what Nady has to offer, but probably never more than this. This mic performs beautifully for any price, but especially for this price. I would highly recommend getting a separate shockmount for it though, depending on how you intend to use it. Sounds great and the omni/cardioid option is gold.

shakes like a rattle
I returned this mic as soon as it came in the mail. The element is loose within the case. Never in 45 years have I had one like this. I got a replacement which was waiting on me when I returned from Christmas break. It's the same mic. I know it's the same because of a small scratch on the bottom of the XLR connector. It still shakes like a rattle. I'll try to send it back tomorrow, but I fear I'll get a song and dance.

Great inexpensive mic.
This is my second one wanted a stereo pair for drums for my studio. Have used for live sound but this mic is a little fragile. Which is my biggest complaint. I might even get a couple more.

Fits Samson SP01 Shock Mount
I just received the SCM-960 and have yet to get it set up. I'm happy to report that my Nady SCM-960 does have threads and it fits perfectly with the Samson SP01 shock mount. This is interesting because in the photos of the Nady SCM-960 it doesn't appear to have any threads. Mine also came with a mic holder.

Not Bad at all
I must say for the cost of this microphone it has a pretty good sound for a low cost condenser mic. I would still recommend a spider shock mount for it.
