I am loving my SurfaceBook 2 except for one rather ironic detail: For some odd reason I cannot install Office 365! Big disappointment. May have to return if this issue is not rectified...

Microsoft will not repair this machine
I have bought three of these from B and H. My experience with B and H was excellent, as always. And the computer is excellent. But two of the three have broken keyboards (no accidents, they just wore out from use) and I was shocked to discover that Microsoft does not repair these machines. Great Laptop
This is a great laptop, expensive, but great. I did have a number of restart issues the first couple of days when it was updating software and stuff. I havent had any issues since the last update.

Great Product!
For someone that does a lot of digital illustrations and CG animation, this product is great for it. The graphics card also allow me to smoothly play games. I'm only giving it four stars because in my eyes, there should be a kickstand (just like the Surface Pro) for better support and new mode for drawing or painting. Also the keyboard is so thin in height, sometimes it is difficult to plug in USB cables.

So Far So Good
Excellent service. Haven't encountered any problems with the hardware yet (I hope it stays that way). International delivery was excellent however if I may suggest not to use Fedex in the Philippines, for obvious reasons in customs.

This is the best laptop I have ever had. Top notch quality, great performance and overall feel make me very happy. There is not a single thing I would complain about. During charge it is hardly ever warm, can't hear fans noise at all (these were the issues I had with another brand's 2-in-1 I purchased a month ago, so I had to return it). It is pricier than its competitors but trust me - it is well worth the price.

Best high-power laptop available
If you need a serious laptop, don't look any further - this is your new tool. The combination of high-powered components, refined design and easy usability make this a fantastic all-round powerhouse. Even long-time Mac die-hards should consider this thing. Seriously, if you're only looking at the Macbook Pro, you're short-changing yourself.

Best laptop/tablet combo out
I had a 15" Macbook Pro and several small things kept bothering me. The Macbook did have great battery life but this thing just will last forever and it churns through my work without getting super hot like the Mac did. Great laptop - buy it you will not regret it at all!!!

The ultimate laptop
I love every detailed aspect of this laptop. My only issue is the lack of HDMI port, it wouldve been great if it had one but I had to buy an adaptor for it. The overall performance is powerful and astonishing. I really like having the option to use it as a tablet. I strongly recommend this laptop.

Selling refurbished or previously registered machines as new
Just found out from Microsoft that the Surface Book 2 that was delivered on April 16 was registered more than a month earlier, on March 11. This means the machine is either refurbished or was registered in bulk a month before purchase. So I can't buy a Microsoft extended warranty. Beware!

Top notch PC
Some may say it's no more than a tablet with a detachable base. but I say that regular tablets are mostly used for web browsing and playing games with very limited access to do anything else. So with that said, this is an outstanding PC. It has vivid colorful display with an amazing battery life. Runs cool with it's quad core possessor. It is on the pricey side and I though about it twice and after looking at other brands and owning a troubled Mac Book Pro that cost about the same as this one, I just went for it and I'm happy now.

Best Premium Laptop on the Market
I'm a long time Apple Mac, iMac and Macbook Air user. Impressive laptop
My overall experience with Surface Book 2 was amazing. It offers a durable battery. It is a little heavier than I thought it would be but is not a problem to carry it around. The screen has a great color gamut and the touch screen is very responsive. The trackpad is one of the best I have ever tried, and the keyboard has a very comfortable travel. The sound on the laptop is more than decent offering a great stereo effect thanks to the speaker positioning.

Coil whine
I like the computer, but it's very expensive. For this price, it shouldn't have coil whine. But when it's plugged in, the laptop has a high pitched sound that is very apparent in quite rooms.

Amazing convertible laptop...but my wallet hurts!
This laptop is amazing! Great upgrade from the previous generations. I only wish the hard drive sizes were cheaper to upgrade! As a gaming machine it is great, I played doom on ultra settings and never had a hiccup less than 60fps. Phenomenal for editing in ps too!

Chose this over a MacBook Pro 15"
After comparing the features, it was an easy decision to replace my MacBook Air with the Surface Book 2. I enjoyed my Surface Pro 4 so much that I knew I wanted a 2 in 1 which the MacBook Pro is not. This powerful laptop will be used 80% of the time for my online business and 20% for personal applications, including some Adobe Photoshop and gaming.
