Pleased with purchase, no regrets
Display is clear and bright. I play Guildwars 2 on it as well as watching movies. Some movies are not formatted for 21:9, but many are. I also split the screen with Windows 10 functionality when I need to use the extra real estate and have no issues...I did not install the accompanying software because there is not enough real estate to effectively use quadrants. Great price for a very nice widescreen monitor
I purchased it to use as a second monitor for particular software applications, and so far I'm very happy that I did. Super easy to set up, and the images are quite sharp and beautiful.

Pure joy for a year now
Using a monitor with these specs simply means you already did your homework and made some conscious decisions. My experience over the past year is that this LG is awesome, didn't regret it for a split second. I prefer matte screens and I put the extra wide aspect ratio to good use for many practical reasons. One of the perks that I'm enjoying over and over is watching movies that use every pixel on the screen, it's just beautiful. For almost everything I do and care about with my Macs, this is one of my top choices and recommendations.

Lovely, Cheaper Widescreen Monitor
I bought this monitor to make editing video in Premiere Pro easier and it's done exactly that. I was able to link this monitor with another widescreen LG monitor and essentially create a giant timeline that I can easily work in. I use a DisplayPort cable to connect the screen to my graphics card and so far so good. just fine for your needs
this is a good product. maybe not quality enought for picture color and correction for editing. it is my first time with a 21:9 screen but i really love having the extra length on the timeline. btw- mac book air 2014 requires the mini display to display cable. resolution will not upsize if you use the HDMI ports for some reason. Thanks again to B&H for helping me overcome this hurdle. k-

Awesome wide screen
Perfect for word and excel side by side, crystal clear and solid performance in gaming. Star Wars Battlefront is now totally awesome. Using display port but HDMI works well also.
