Korg EXP2 - Foot Controller

Worst of its kind
This pedal is the worst Ive ever purchased. Korg replaced it once and now it needs placing again. when pressing it for more volume and using it for expression - which adds to the musical performance, it detracts from it with a ratchet interruption in the sound. Im told by Korg that this is an amazing pedal, yean right.

A perfect pedal fir my perfect keyboard
I bought a Korg PA4X arranger keyboard and needed an expression pedal to use with it. Staying with the same company always makes sense when buying keyboard pedals since you don't have to seek out the specifications of the alternative brands. This pedal does the job.

Korg should make better pedal!
The pedal is poorly made. It does not have smooth action and it is very noisy. I own this pedal many years ago and it was a much better quality . It does the job but I expect better quality from Korg.

Korg EXP2
Good pedal. Needs to include instructions though as the pedal has numerous connections. Purchased to use with my Korg Lrome 88 for live gigs volume and wah effect control. Still cannot figure out how to make it work. I have experssion pedasl on all of my keys and synths and they work as soon as you connect them. Very confusing. Also, change the color of the cable. Looks ridiculous.

Good pedal, good build quality , little shallow throw, would be better if there was more range, flexible ,with a cool orange cord

Best Foot Controller
I've owned several foot controllers such as the Roland EV and Yamaha FC series, and I can honestly say that nothing really measures up to the Korg EXP2. The slim and compact ergodynamic design makes it optimal for the gigging musician. The volume adjustability and smooth action give the EXP2 a higher degree of expressivity and responsiveness than other foot controllers in its class. I use this to control the volume for various keyboad organs, and gives a realistic feel not found in other foot controllers. Of all the foot controllers i've played on, this has been my favorite.
