My first drone
I have had my Mavic Mini for about a week now and just love it. I watched a ton of YouTube videos reviewing this drone and already many of them are outdated, as they do not include the latest firmware updates (as of this writing version 1.0.3) which address some of the concerns. The drone is very easy to fly and I think the photos and videos are excellent. You can set the video exposure and lock it to keep the exposure from changing as the drone enters different lighting conditions. I found that editing the jpg file in Lightroom will allow for some very nice to excellent photos.

Great little drone
This is my first drone and it is wonderful. The battery life is great, it's very stable even in light wind, the camera is great in video and photo mode, very stable imagery. It's very easy to fly and to learn to fly. Overall is a great drone and has done everything I wanted it to do.

Awesome
This is the first drone I have ever had, and its great. Pictures and videos are great quality for everyday use. The control of the drone is unbelievable. You can fly insanely far without losing signal, and battery life is amazing.

Watch Your Money Fly Away
R.I.P Drone 10/30/2019-12/16/2019 Flew my mini drone in a green recommended zone. 20 Satellites available and yet it flew off on its own. Didnt return to the home location I set. Now its in the ocean somewhere. A waste of money. These horror stories happen once to many times.

Great size, great fun!
I do love my Mini, however, I don't love the app so far. I recently tried to fly in a zone that required authorization and though the app has the option to request authorization, it didn't work. I was able to request immediate authorization in the same location at the same time for my Mavic 2 Pro directly through DJI GO4. (Also Kittyhawk app didn't show this as an area requiring authorization and didn't present an option to request it.) Thus, I was unable to fly my Mini that day.

Be careful
My first 2 weeks was a blast. And then...my Mini was gone with the wind and DJI said frankly, we don't give a .... The beauty and curse of this drone it is light and small. However, the wind can take it away pretty easy and the fail safes didn't work. When you purchase the DJI Refresh allows you to destroy the drone twice, but when it takes off out of your control they don't offer any support. Very disappointed with DJI support.

Beginner Perspective Review
Been looking at drones since the phantoms came out, but couldnt pull the trigger. A friend with a mavic 2 pro mentioned that a low priced mavic was about to come out. Needless to say I was excited. Good drone for what it is.
I got it for my trip to Vietnam because I didn't want to risk taking my Mavic Pro and possibly lose it or have it confiscated. Moreover, the Mavic Mini is so much easier to travel with. Where might this technology take us next month, year, 5 years? Hands on the Mini and you know you treat it gently! You can break it easily! Great first or second drone
I was so happy to receive my mini I charged up the batteries remote and went to Fly and was grounded by the software Boooooo. But I understand why it has to be this way. I drove to a location not far from the no fly zone and I was amazed with how good this little baby flies. Excellent drone
Excellent stability and flight time. It handled 20 mph wind just fine and easily flys for 25 plus minutes on even a windy day. The camera handles reasonably well under low light and is really good during the day. The gimbal is smooth and in CineSmooth mode the drone can take beautiful shots. In addition, the quick shots are easy to use and work well! Set up is also much quicker than the drone I had previously and I can get in the air within 2-3 minutes.

Great first drone
This is my first drone, its real easy to fly. I think the picture and video quality are awesome for the money. The size of the drone and carrying case makes it perfect for traveling. I was worried about not having obstacle avoidance but not any more.

Bad video transmission
Cool drone, it feel cheap though. So far, I can say video transmission breaks in less than half a mile away from remote. Im thinking about returning it

Loving my new DJI Mavic Mini Drone!!!
The Mavic Mini Fly-more Combo will take longer to be delivered. It is a heavily requested item at this time, but believe me when I say the wait will be worth it. Ecstatic
Having owned a lesser priced drone Im thrilled with my Mavic mini. This drone is so easy to fly. Take off to the height you want and let go. It will hover in place. The other drone you constantly had to keep it in place. Even on a fairly windy day the Mavic mini has no issues. The camera is so stable even in the wind.

This is a GREAT entry level drone . . .
I'm a novice when it comes to flying a drone . . . but with the help of Youtube how-to videos I was able to figure how to fly this drone with confidence. The Mavic Mini is a great deal for the price . . . and a fun addition to my photography hobby.

Better than sliced bread!
This thing is awesome and for the price you can't beat it! So what if it only does 2.7k video...it's $499!! DJI quality is Awesome. The Fly more combo is the way to go. No issues with range and flight times over 20 minutes.

Great battery and speed, needs range and 4K
I love the size on this little drone, it packs a punch! Great speed and very nimble. Battery holds up for a long flight time compared to it's bigger cousins. I'm a little disappointed that DJI chose to remove the Pro level controls for video and the range is not good. It will start getting choppy or lose connection on a clear day around 150M Distance. (The connection is WIFI 2.4 or 5GHz, not low Freq RF like the bigger drones) So areas with WIFI cause interference. I live in a city with lots of wireless AP's so it's tough.

Excellent drone light weight for a beginner
Despite having Mavic Air Fly More combo for over a year (which is still new shrink wrapped) as I was busy with so many activities. Did not want to ruin an expensive drone. Worthy Update for the Spark
This drone is excellent for beginners and will satisfy most pro flyers. Much better battery life and folding arms make this the perfect drone for traveling and local zooming around. Do practice with a drone flight sim and please fly responsibly I will treasure this new toy for a long time
