Bose SoundLink II Around Ear Wireless Headphones
Nice, but not perfect
I upgraded to these from a pair of JVC HAD700 that I have had for close to 30 years. I researched online reviews and went to multiple electronics store to compare. They sound nice, I feel that they have plenty of bass, and I like varied music styles, from bluegrass to hip hop. I work from home and write a lot, so I wear headphones for hours at a time to drown out sounds of young kids, dogs, etc. I feel they do an excellent job of that. I tr... Show More

Poor Bluetooth connection
I purchased Bose AE Wireless Headphones II primarily so I can listen to my TV (Samsung KS 8000) at night without disturbing anyone. Unfortunately, intermittent blue tooth connection made it impossible. For unknown reason, the Bose headphone and my Samsung tv had a very difficult time pairing and connecting. Sometimes it would take 10 or even 20 tries before the connection was made. And even when the connection was made, the audio stuttered and pa... Show More

Bad quality of materials
A boughtBoseSoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphones II Black inDecember 2015 from BHPhotoVideo The ear cushions have a terrible look after three years of easy use. Also synthetic leather on the upper part has crumbled and paint on themetal part was peeled off. The Headphones have easy use. I have not used it daily. The wireless plunge
I have finally decided to give bluetooth headphones a try. I have an older pair of Bose wired headphones that use with an MP3 player at the gym, and will continue to do so. Sound was very clean and I was hoping the soundlinks would prove the same. I am not disappointed. Paired quickly with my Android phone which also allows me to take calls. A great feature since I'll be using these at the beach and our local pool this summer. Although these are ... Show More

Not good for calls
The headphones are very easy to use and the sound is great for music. The lack of noise cancelling proved to be an issue for my commute (NJ Transit trains louder than I first thought). What lead me to return them was the way they function during phone calls. I tried walking through Manhattan while on a conference call but the microphones were turned on the entire time (even when I was on mute) and the external sounds were amplified to my ears. Th... Fantastic, esp. for Those That Don't Like Noise Cancellation
I chose these because I wanted the convenience of wireless headphones, but I don't like active noise cancellation. Noise cancellation gives me a headache after a while, so I prefer headphones without it. If you like active noise cancellation, the QC35's are a great, popular option. However, you cannot turn of the noise cancellation on those headphones, which is why I opted for these. My only complaint is that I wish these folded down more compact... Show More

THE ABSOLUTE BEST FOR MY PURPOSES
I wanted a pair of headphones basically for travel. After a lot of research I zeroed in on these. Are they the best ones available for travel? Nope. Are they the best ones available at this price point for my travel purposes? I certainly think so. They sound very good and they are very comfortable. However, if you are looking for headphones, I strongly suggest you read some of the many, professional reviews. That said, you can't go wrong with these, unless absolute noise cancelling is your top priority, in that case, there are better, more expensive choices out there.

Awesome sound and comfort
The headphones are very comfortable to wear. The pads are made of some material which smoothly fits around the contours of the head. The headphones are much lighter and feel durable. The sound quality is impressive and there is no loss of sound from a macbook or iPhone. It's the best value for money when you compare it to similar wireless offerings from Beats and other competitors. I was able to convince a person who bought Beats Studio wireless to switch to this, even though this had no noise-cancellation. Quality oozes from this headphone.

Very Comfortable and no dropouts
Bought them a month ago to replace a pair of Sennheiser mm 450-x's. Used on daily commute and performance has been rock solid with no dropouts. On an 8 hour flight there was no fatigue but engine noise was not totally blocked out. Good all round performer with both rock and classical. Battery lasts 12+ hours and handy voice prompt telling you how much charge is left is a great feature. Not needed the cable yet. Only 4 stars as no Noise Cancelling and do not fold but around-ear design does a decent job, recommended.

My headphones are cooler than yours
The headphones are incredible! These headphones are comfy, great sounding and have some great tech in them. I enjoy being able to manage the connections through the iOS app as well as the comfort of these. Personally I am not much of a fan of noise cancelling headphones, so these were perfect for me. The great quality of Bose sound with great comfort. Additionally, a lot of users complained that the volume cannot go loud, I disagree, I listen to these at between 60% and 75% volume at most times.

great sound, comfy, light weight, very happy
When I opened the box I wasn't to sure, but then I put them on played some of my favourite music I was hearing sounds I never even realised in the music beforehand, absolutely impressed with these headphones, chuck out your iPhone headphones & get a pair of these you will totally be amazed at the sound quality, there so light weight that sometimes I forget there even on my head if it wasn't for the music playing in my ears I would forget they were there altogether, very stylish, really impressed

Bose as good as always
These headphones are great, exactly what you would expect from Bose. The battery lasts me enough for 3 shifts at work and they charge quickly. The sound is clear and good throughout the sound range. My only gripe is after wearing them for 6 hours the edges of my ears do start to hurt; but my ears do stick out a little bit. I updated the firmware before using them easily using the Bose Connect app. I have not had any problem with them disconnecting or cutting out like others say in reviews.

Love them! Worth purchasing.
I was so tired of using my Samsung branded in-ear headphones; I was so tired of the little protectors falling off, and the wires getting in the way when walking or at the gym. I decided to invest in these wireless headphones and I will never look back! I didn't go for the noise cancelling as I felt this version was great for my needs - just recreation. They are perfect for the gym (lifting, and cardio - skipping included). The sound is amazing, although some days I wish the volume was louder.

Thumbs up to Bose.. & Argos sales team!
Purchased for my 11 year olds birthday present. Replacing 6 pairs of Sony wired earphones which have all lasted only a couple of months due to faulty wires (& the occasional chew!!) Needed to ditch the wire! Daughter baths & sleeps with her earphones on so the money is well spent for how much she uses them! They charge quite quickly & the case they come with is very handy to keep them safe & looking smart - if they're ever off her head!! Well done Bose! Argos sales team were great as always!

Excellence you can count on from Bose.
Bought Bose Sound Link around ear head phones for my daughters Christmas present. Did a fair bit of research into sound, comfort, battery life, cost etc on comparable products, then took her shopping to try a good bunch of them. I think the stand out difference between Bose and it's nearest competitors has got to be the quality of sound produced. However, they do exceed their competitors in all other areas. Expensive but well worth it. Only down side is that I'll need to buy myself some now!

Bose soundlink
One extremely pair of comfortable headphones as you would expect from a premium brand like Bose. Sound quality very good, if I where to have a small gripe could be a bit more base but a quick adjustment of equaliser did the trick for a better tone. Have to say one of the most comfortable headphones I've owned being my previous ones where beats, the sound quality in using them when a phone call came in excellent! The ability to haven it connected to my phone and another device brilliant !

Quality
Bose quality at a more affordable price.. Fantastic sound and super easy to pair with all your Bluetooth audio kit, phones, iMac, tv, iPad.. Charge seems to last ages.. Great for boogying around the house while doing housework and not upsetting the neighbours.. They are well made and nice and light to wear, they don’t have noise cancelling but that’s why they are significantly cheaper than the quiet comfort range by Bose.. Give them a go, you won’t be disappointed

Sounds like Bose
Amazing headphones. They say Bose on the side, and they definitely sound like Bose. These sound brilliantly, and are very comfortable to wear for any length of time, be it small or long. They connect very quickly and easily to any device, and you can switch between the devices. The range on these seems good, though I've never tested it to the limit yet. The battery last for a long enough period of time to warrant charging every few days/week, depending on how often there used.

Simply Amazing
I was blown away with the quality of these headphones... They can take a beating as the build is excellent, the connection is one of the best I have had for headphones and the sound quality is out of this world, I don't need to volume as high anymore! My only grip is after wearing them for a few hours your ears do get hot but I suppose thats the same for all over the head headphones! Another quality product from Bose and I would very highly recommend these headphones...

I would buy another again. Definitely.
I watch a lot movies on my way to work and listen music before sleeping. The best two things about that headphones is that the charge lasts very long(more than 12 hours I think) and it is great that they are wireless. No worries to get strangled by the stupid cables. I am not an audiophile but the sound is awesome to me. It is deep, the bass is good and the voice is crystal clear. When I receive a phone call, nobody understands I am talking through them. I like them very much.

Great quality
As per normal with Bose this is a very nice piece of kit. It’s simple to use and connect, the build quality is very good and the sound is amazing, including deep base. The noise cancelling feature seems to work very well, I tried this out when my wife’s parents were visiting from Italy and I couldn’t hear them, so I don’t think you can set the bench much higher! Only criticism is they are on the small side, but they are lightweight and ideal for use during activity.

Bose headphones
Honestly when I bought these I was worried as I am not a fan of the "burger" style headphones as I often prefer in ear. However I have been knocked off my feet with these, the sound quality is as you'd expect from Bose, they are comfortable and the Bluetooth range is more than acceptable as well. The clarity during calls is also amazing I can hear a lot better and the caller on the other end hears me clearly as well. Would seriously 100% recommend them to anyone. A must buy

Excellent headphones
Pros - I like that it tells me what name/number is calling, with battery level and device name connected to when switched on. Sound very good especially when out walking along a windy path, I didn't need to turn the volume up, although my companion with different make headphones did. Headband and cups flexible when putting on. Cons - a bit expensive if I'm honest. Oh, and the case is a bit fiddly and the pouch for the wires a bit small. Overall definitely recommend,
