Had the Sennheiser CXC700's. They lasted about 6 months. Could never get a good fit. Either they would come out every 10 minutes or the earpieces started to come off and stay in my ear. Finally the volume control went defective where one channel was intermittent and staticy. The Bose product seems much better built and is a very good fit. Great sound and functionality
I use them on airplanes, on subways, and my wife uses them (borrows them!) in the car while I'm driving. They knock out the background noise, handle music and conversation well, and people on the phone tend to thank me when I use them because the mic is better than that on the iPhone. A bit pricey, but I don't have to buy them often. Good purchase.

Incredible Clarity
I like my music, and I also have a large number of online training classes I take as required by my job. The clarity of these In-Ear Headphones is awesome, and when I turn on the Noise-Cancelling feature WOW what a difference! Now that I've got them, I wish I had bought them sooner. The only negative is that they don't ship with a wall charger included.

Great Buds
The buds fit comfortably and seal well, providing good passive filtering. After turning on the active noise reduction, most ambient sounds are removed. They work so well that my wife has banned me from wearing them in the house. Apparently I cannot here her when she talks to me.

I am thrilled with these headphones. As a Professional Keynote Speaker and Musical Performer I am very particular about sound and music reproduction. These faithfully produce what has been recorded and the noise canceling is brilliant.

Best Headphones for studying
I usually study at the library at my school, but its just too loud with everybody talking and all. These headphones are off the chart in terms of noise cancellation. Help me focus in studying, while also getting superb music quality.

Best noise cancelling head phone so far
I have Bose QuietComfort 3 and earlier Beats by Dr. Dre Studio. This is definitely the best in noise cancelling. And I like that it is small and battery life is good.

great when traveling or not
These are amazing while being small so great for travel. but they are also great when looking for quiet while reading or working in a coffee shop for example. Two drawbacks: One the wire between device jack and the battery is a bit short. Takes some maneuvering sometimes. Two is the need to recharge the batteries. At the end of a long trip all devices often need charging but there aren't always enough outlets especially when traveling with family.

Great Noise Cancelation in Small Package
I had the QC-15 over ear phones and the NC worked well. I recently had to replace them (sadly due to theft) and decided to try the in ear version. Boy was I surprised. The NC actually is superior to the QC-15s. The sound quality is just average but in combination with the NC, they can't be beat, esp for in ear phones.

Awesome!!
Awesome small portable noise canceling headphones. I haven't had a chance to use them on the plane yet but they have been great when I'm home and have to tune out distracting noise while I finish up work.

Nice headphones
So far I really like these headphones. The sound is nice, and the noise cancellation for an in ear headset is great. They are also very comfortable to wear. The 'aware' mode is very cool. Its noise cancellation with what sounds like 'miked' conversation coming in from the outside. Its very useful in a lot of situations as the normal noise cancellation works really well. Exceeded Expectations
I switched from standard noise canceling headphones and was unsure about whether or not these would be comfortable enough or whether they would work well at noise cancellation. I was pleasantly surprised. The sound is great and the noise canceling is as good or better than my old on ear headphones. A worthwhile purchase for travel.

Best in the market
I have two pairs of the QuietComfort headphones. Best in the market. Works without battery -Super!!! And, when turning on the noise canceling - you are in your own world. No annoying phone conversations disturbs you. Keep up the good job Bose.

Small, light, medium sound!
Smaller than the Bose Quiet Comfort 3 but doing the same job is what I was looking for in order to diminish the weight I am carrying around when traveling. The universal S, M, L plugs sit perfectly in my ear, never afraid of loosing them. Unfortunately when you turn them on and the environment is very quiet, you will hear a very very soft white-noise. I own 2 headphones witch cost $.In french;Effectivement, j'ai achet 2 sets d'couteur, le premier m'a cout plus de $. en spcial, il tait $. le deuxime, situation semblable.Revenons au sujet de cet avis. Bose toujours ( Ou presque ) eu une rputation enviable sur les quipements et accessoires haut de gamme. Soyons francs, ils se sont tromp quelques reprises. Par contre, je dois avouer que cette fois, ils ont produit un quipement de trs grande qualit. Est-ce que je recommande ce produit....???Aucune hsitation, vous allez tre surpris et surtout combl....Voyage, la maison, ......Go for it......

Very good ear phones
Very good quality only issue I am facing is getting them properly positioned in the ear. Noise canceling very good and sound quality excellent. Good for trAvel since they are so compact.

Awesome Headphones
Does exactly what they advertise. Used to use the big bulky Bose noise cancelling headphones. I'd say the quality is equal or a little better on these buds.They're extremely comfortable and portable which is awesome.I wish it were a little cheaper, but heck, I suppose you're paying for the quality.

Amazing quality
I bought the Bose 20I Acoustic Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones to replace a pair by another manufacturer. In the past I have also had the Bose over the ear noise cancelling headphones. I was amazed by how well they work. I have used them on two flights now, and they cut out the ambient noise 99%, and the quality of the music from my iPad is sublime. They are expensive but worth every penny. Tomorrow I fly to Hong Kong from Newark and will use them non-stop on the flight. Thank you Bose!

Good for airplane flights
I bought these to replace a set of over the ear noise-cancelling earphones that I used on long airplane flights. Like all earbuds, I don't find these totally comfortable, and I find the noise cancellation just adequate. But the considerable savings in size makes these preferable to full sized alternatives.

Excellent Headphones
Really blocks out the noise of New York City while amplifying the quality of sound of every podcast, song, and audiobook I listen to. Doesn't provide absolute noise cancellation but does a pretty darn good job. The control piece attached to the chord is awkwardly placed for iphones.

I'm writing this review as my neighbor is cutting down a big tree about 30 feet from my office chair (the joys of working at home). The chainsaw and chipper are both running, and I'm wearing the earbuds. They're not eliminating all the noise, of course, but they're making it bearable. I'm happy. I swapped the buds for my pair of Bose QC-15 over-the-ear headphones, and the QC-15 are (very slightly) quieter, but the earbuds do the job just fine. So... Show More
