Great Sound On A Budget
I couldn't believe the difference the ADI21 made in the sound of my guitar. I play an Epiphone DR 500MCE with the Shadow eSonic pickup system, which sounds great to begin with, but can be a little harsh on the high end. The ADI21 allows me to custom tailor the sound without losing the ringing chime this guitar produces. Ok, I guess - might give it another go
It's a little difficult rating this. I suppose that it might do what it's supposed to, but it's hard to say. Product seemed sturdy enough, considering an all-plastic construction. I was able to tweak sound a fair amount using the 3 knob equalizer. I just couldn't get rid of hum, and consequently, it didn't serve very well as a DI box. I suppose it could have been a bad pickup. Either way, I ultimately had to return the product. I wouldn't rule it out in the future, but I also couldn't rave about it. Willing to accept that some of my experience could be colored by user error/inexperience.

What a great product
I use this ADI21 to plug my acoustic directly in to my church mixer. Before this box I had very little umph!..Now with this stompbox with DI out I have warmth and more control over my sound. The Blend TUBE SIMULATION is a definite must have. The cost is too good to be true. Now you can have the sound your acoustic guitar was meant to have. This is NOT a 'You get what you pay for' product. I'd have to say you get WAY more than what you pay for. I rated it as a 4 star only because the knobs are a little hard to see what actual setting you have while standing up.

Entry level direct box with the Acoustic /Electric Guitarist in mind with a surprising amount of features for the price. It's an analog modeling acoustic guitar preamp/stompbox with tube/microphone modeling circuitry - as if your acoustic guitar was miked through a tube pre-amp. 3 band EQ and 1/4 inch/XLR inputs. Going to be used in a church going directly through the PA. I have no idea how they sell quality that cheap.

Great Value!!!
Use this in Worship team. It is a DI box and it takes some of the pizeo brightiness away. Everyone thought it was an improvement. It is just a lot bigger than my little stick It has a button so you can bypass if you have some lead to play and the go back to the mellow strumming. DI that I used from Radio Shack. But its not any larger than most DI boxs. I would highly recommend.

Great little device
I use the device to modify and enhance a piezo pickup on an acoustic guitar and on a fiddle. Piezo pickups tend to be a little on the shrill side and this device gives the ability to have more control on the overall acoustic tone of your instrument. Just to be able to modify the tone in this way is a big plus for me.

Good DI
I purchased This product for use in home studio work. NO it does'nt compare to a 180 dollar L.R.Baggs but if you have the ability to tweak. It gets the job done. With the Money I saved I can Buy More equipment.Keep Your adjustments around 3-4 then tweak from there.

Performed As Expected
I use it as a direct in box. I was hoping for something similar to the Fishman Aura without the tweaking. Since I didn't really expect this, I can't say I'm truly disappointed that the acoustic simulation isn't great. It's a nice, solid direct in box, though.

Madatory device
If you've got a piezo pickup, you need one of these. While not perfect, it removes most of the extreme highend rasp from the pickups and delivers a much more realizistic tone. It does this for a price much less than the other brands.

works well with my accordion
I use this to provide a volume boost for my accordion that has the original crystal pickups. It gives me enough gain to amplify through my keyboard amp. It also gives great boost to the bottom end.
