You could pay more...but why?

admirable performance for the price
I use the pedal for contempoary cristian music(church praise band)It performs well for the money spent. I really wnated to try an inexpensive compressor out before spending big money and not liking the results. The plastic case is plenty strong for the type of playing I do. There is some noise with the unit when it is turned up past about 7, but below that it is fine. It boosts the higher(softer)notes quite well, although I wish it would not supress the low(louder)notes as much, but that is its function I suppose.I have other Behringer pedals and am pleased overall with their products.

Pretty Good For The Money
Work best with my strat for a nice quack/spank, doesn't color it's sound too much. Seams to have more of an adverse effect on humbucker guitars. Good sustain. Plastic case should last if not abused.

Decent pedal considering price
Good compressor that compounds loud ,overbearing sounds. Good sustain. Major drawback plastic type casing. No tone control.
