Best Mid-tier Motherboard!
Last year, I was using the Asus Prime X470 Pro Motherboard for my Ryzen 2700X. It was an awesome experience! Overclocked my Ryzen and my RAM really nicely. Was using that Mobo for 15 months, no issues at all! I finally sold it and purchased this Motherboard for my new Intel build, 9700K because I've switch to gaming now and want every possible FPS I could get from Intel chips. And it worked right out of the box with ease! I was even able to updat... Show More

don't waste your time and your money
The worst customer support... I've now tried to build three motherboards from Asus and each one ends in a spiral of customer support trouble. B and H don't sell motherboards with the approved accessories so buyer beware. I've changed RAM, graphics cards and now a power supply to buy parts that are on their fully tested list... still dead and I have double the parts that I need.

Very flexible cable management with respect to where fan connectors are and right angle SATA ports are hidden behind GPU. Other than the one topic below, the UE... Show More

Overall Solid Performer
This is a good performer that doesnt break a sweat under load. I have this board running a i7-9700K with a Noctua cooler and during Prime95 torture test, it tops out at 40C CPU temps without fans spinning up to audible levels. The board supports M.2 drives, so I put in a Samsung NVMe M.2 drive. Read speeds really are in excess of 3500MB/sec on actual testing! Caveat: Windows 7 installer wont see a bootable drive. Had to install Windows 10, reluct... Show More
