Great desktop
I had been looking for a 21.5 at first to get an affordable desktop, but I noticed the deal here on the 27 which would've also allowed me to upgrade to 16 gb memory myself, and there aren't many 16gb 21.5 that aren't unreasonably expensive. Glad this came about and I'm pretty happy so far (2 weeks).

Fusion Drives suck
The Fusion drive will not allow install of windows on Boot camp. It is a little known issue with the only work around to install fusion. This is my third machine with a fusion drive. Although this is the only one running Windows, I have had issues with all three. Had I known it would not have run boot camp, I would not have bought it. Because I purchased it from B & H, not Apple, I did not attempt to return it.

Excellent iMac for heavy daily use at a good value
Replaced my 2013 iMac and am enjoying a much clearer screen and faster overall operation. As a journalist and photographer, I rely on this machine and am on it hours and hours a day. It has to perform flawlessly and that has been the case for the Apple products I've had since the early 2000s. It took some days to migrate all my apps and data, check everything, color calibrate the monitor and back up the new iMac, but I'm pleased with the new setup.

I am a Mac fan, having tried all the PC over the last 30 years from a Compaq to you name it , the best is Apple, this is my 3rd and will never have anything else

Good working 2017 iMac
It took a little while to download the new Catalina OS. I use this 27 iMac mostly to work with photos and videos; so far so good ! The Retina display is GREAT ! love it. Time will tell. I have an ca. 7 year old MacBookAir; which travels with me all the time; that sold me on an other Mac.

Smooth Sailing
I replaced my 2010 iMac with a mid-2017 at the recommendation of a friend, and went to B&H at the recommendation of a local computer repair pro. I got my new-to-me machine superfast, set it up with no problems using a time machine back-up. I really couldn't have asked for a smoother transition.

Excellent Purchase - Apple 27 iMac
Was skeptical to purchase this online, but the price point just couldn't be beat and we are thrilled with the performance, condition and quality of this computer. Got another Apple
There is nothing wrong with this computer. I suggest that you save some money and get a new previous version. This was a circa 2017 model and it does everything I need it to do. Now I will add some memory and I be set. The key here is B&H. They are a great place to buy from.

Fantastic Computer!
I needed a computer that could handle a Davinci Resolve workflow with my new BMPCC 6K and the 2017 iMac with the 580 graphics (and maxed out RAM from Crucial) card works great. I always buy new, previous generation Macs to take advantage of the great discounts. B&H had the best price, by far. Also, the 2TB fusion drive is great, very fast. Highly recommended.

What can I say.. I had been searching for a newer Mac to replace my decade old one and couldnt be more pleased with my purchase. Great Upgrade and Value
In need of the next upgrade, decided to purchase this 2017 5k 27 inch. Great speed and awesome 5k monitor. Considering Apple upgrades models so often I felt like $2800 was a lot to pay for the most recent and opted for a discounted 2 year old unit and spent the extra on 32 GB ram and an Apple CD drive, a carrying case All for under $2k with tax!! Had it for almost two years now. Easy set up. Lots of good reviews but some people just like to sell it short for some reason; perhaps it is their lack of knowledge... I am, however, awaiting a screen resolution of around 8k to 10k as my camera doubles the 5k resolution. Very happy with it... Kevin
