better price than from apple
was about to purchase the same computer through apple but got a better deal with B&H. Used to have a 2012 Mac Book. I was able to upgrade the ram and it lasted 8 years. Now apple is taking away this option. That, along with a few other features, has me preferring the older computer but the OS wasnt able to handle some of the programs I was running.

Great!
I replaced my 2014 MacBook, and though it was still working fine, this is better in every way. I've been putting off buying one because I kept reading how awful the keyboards were, and that the touch bar was useless. I like the keyboard. I also like the touch bar. I increased the hard drive size, and it's nice to have all my files in one place.

rock solid, perfect combination for speed
really happy with the new mac. The keyboard takes a period to get used to, but it's flies once you start working on it regularly. I actually don't want to go back to older keyboard style. The 51GB and the bump up on the i5 are the best value combination, especially for somewhat intense use, but less than programming or detailed graphics works.

I finally updated
I waited a long time to get a new lap top, I debated of switching from Mac and if I wanted to order something so large online without seeing it first. Turns out the ordering process was simple a direct, even with shipping to Montana, which can sometimes be tricky. Also, I'm thankful that the new MacBook kept the same standards while becoming even more streamlined and easy to use. I find it able to handle as little or as much as I want from it. Pretty happy about the upgrade.

2019 MacBook Pro 13
Have been a Macbook user for many years now. I love the new touch bar and the new keyboard. I was a 15 user before and have to say that the 13 form factor is really a nice change. Not quite as lightweight as the Air but still a super comfortable and portable system. Highly recommended!

New to Apple
I'm new to the Apple family, so my acclimation to the new macbook pro was time consuming. The 13.3 screen was a challenge for my vision; but I found how to determine font size on the desktop and my major applications. I find that I'm growing accustomed to my little mac, and I suspect I'll discover the true benefits, like portability, will elevate my rating from 4-stars to 5.

A professional-grade machine
Coming from a 2015 MacBook Air, the performance was the first noticeable improvement. Working with a visualization software on my Macbook Air would being speed to a crawl. My second Macbook this year!
My wife and partner saw my Macbook Pro and said: I want one too. I just finished setting up my new Macbook pro I purchased a week earlier and after a day of working with it, a could no longer convince her that her Macbook Air is sufficient :) For this laptop, I ordered the 1.4ghz which is much faster than her previous 2015 Macbook Air 2.4ghz. Apple truly boosted the performance of the new processors. I'll take this or my other Macbook pro at any time and B&H makes it a breeze to select and buy one!

My new Mac has a tough act to follow
Nine years is a long time to use the same personal computer - this Mac Book Pro has a tough act to follow, because that iMac lasted nine whole years, and the screen size was luxurious. Naturally, such an old machine will be more difficult to migrate from. Migration Assisant could not connect to my old iMac over WIFI. I used a Western Digital Elements 5TB external drive (very affordable item) to make a Time Machine backup, and as soon as I had a way to connect to the USB-C Thunderbolt ports, I was in business with a migration via the backup.
