Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm Lens (Graphite)
Canon No More....
Headed out to test my new a6000 with 24-70 f4 Z lens. I just sold my TWO Canon 6D's and ONE 70D, along with the lenses. I've replaced them with the a6000 and TWO a7s bodies. I couldn't be happier! Canon and Nikon has lost my business and Sony has a new fanboy.

Sony a6000
Just received with kit and lens. Camera works great as other reviewers have stated. One issue, the battery,Watson brand, is included in the kit will not work in this camera. Not sure why B&H would include if it's not comparable. Order the Sony brand and enjoy.

Great little camera and lens
Use this as a backup for A7M2 and for pole photography using wifi and PlayMemories Smart Remote Control. I can control exposure and power-zoom lens focal length remotely, and it takes up very little space in my kit bag. Should have bought this a long time ago.

great camera
Ive had a Canon powershot SX10 IS for about 8 yrs. My brother who is a photographer suggested this camera for my simple point and shoot needs. It is a great camera that takes high quality pics and video. It takes indoor shots alot better than our older camera.

One of Sony's best kept secrets
If you have a Sony Camera, you will love this one it does everything. If you are undecided, watch Gary Fong's video a6000 on B & H. If you have owned any kind of Sony product you know it does not come with a manual, there is a .pdf manual at the support site.

Nice except the charger.
I was under the impression I was getting a Sony charger. I was okay with The Watson charger you sent until I started using it. Difficult fitting Sony batteries in it and the batteries lose the charge faster than any I have ever had. Very disappointed in that.

better than I thought
It was difficult to move away from the Nikos system, but I needed a lighter camera for traveling when I could not drag all my equipment. The compact design, and the reviews sold me on the a6000, but now I use it all the time. It gives nikon great competition

GREAT GREAT GREAT
Had a chance to switch from the sony a5000, that was a good camera, this is a great camera. The burst speed is incredible and I was able to compete with cameras that are 3-5 times the price while shooting sports and paired with a nice lens. Love this camera.

Great buy, totally happy
I'm using this body with an older Leica 35mm Summilux which is 52.5mm equivalent with the cameras 1.5 crop factor. The result are fantastic. Lens and body are perfectly proportioned for each other. I also use with legacy Minolta 24mm, 28mm and 50mm lenses.

Sony a6000! Worth the Wait!
An excellent, or should I aay, a great upgrade! Almost everything I was expecting. Added resolution, improved menu system and flash hot shoe. If you had a DSLR as I did, this equals, or even outperforms, any Canon I have owned at a fraction of the weight.

Light weight and great IQ
Since I don't use video I chose the a6000 over the a6300. I bought it not sure that I would like it over the Sony rx100, but I do. So now I leave the a7rm2 when I travel or shoot simply to have fun. The optics are amazing even for a pixel peeper like me.

Good value for the price
I am satisfied with the overall performance of the camera, but there are three things that disappoint me: battery life, poor quality LCD screen and the raw format is not yet recognized by my software. It is essential to buy a battery and extra charger.

I wouldn't not buy this lens again and again.
A great mirrorless camera. It may be a couple years old at the time of this review, but for $400-500, you really cannot go wrong. It's portable and has ridiculously good IQ with its 24mp sensor. For the budding photographer, this is THE body to get.

Great step up from point & shoot!
This is a great camera to grow into. I was tempted to get a bridge camera, but I'm glad I chose this one instead. Good automatic pictures, and I'll be able to grow into it as I learn to use the settings. Indoor photos without a flash look fantastic.

Great! Just wish it had XAVC-S
I'm a soon to be film student who wanted an upgrade to my current camera. It handles very well, and fits right in my hands. However there are a LOT of menus, and I wish it had XAVC-S codec instead of AVCHD. However, for the price, it's really great!

Great Mirrorless camera!
So far so good! I wanted a camera that could let me control ISO, shutter speed, and aperture without having to carry around my big DSLR. This does a great job of that. There's still so many controls and functions I haven't figured out how to work.

Good camera with a reasonable price
purchased the kit for $$. the silver one has the best looking. it is much lighter than my Canon 6D. If i travel with my drone, i would carry this mirrorless camera instead of 6D. good price for the quality - much much cheaper than Leica mirrorless

Just Right For Me
I've been researching for months for my first interchangeable lens camera and I know I made the right choice. I purchased with the Sigma 16mm 1.8 and Sony 35 1.4 lenses, and the results are excellent. Camera is easy to use feels good in the hands.

So Far Amazing
Believe the hype. I haven't even scratched the surface with this camera yet, but the initial results are amazing. I was looking for a camera to take high into the mountains and this is small enough to do so. The speed is perfect for action shots.

Great Camera
Great camera and so much to test out, lots of fun so far. Very lightweight and packed with features. The apps like time lapse and Sky HDR are great and easy to use. Remote zoom via WIFI is amazing. Most low light photos come out fine. Very happy.

Great little camera
Really small - about the same size as my Canon PowerShot G11 - but with a much larger image sensor.Too bad SONY does not include an external battery charger. I believe an external battery charger is necessary, and the SONY charger costs about $.

A beast in itself
Though I never owned a SLR/DSRL system, I do a lot of spot photography and this camera, with a 50mm 1.8/f Sony prime is perfect for that. Yet to try wide angle lens for it though. Very light weight when compared to SLRs and gr8 value for money
