Excellent Product
Great value for the money. Very good sound reproduction. I was immediately able to hear mid-range frequencies -- something not possible from my last pair of in-ear headsets. The package says they are NOT noise-cancelling, but I wear them on the subway every day and I have to say it does a good job at keeping most of the bad noise out. They are also very comfortable to wear and in my case fit snuggly in my ears. They also don't pop out abruptly. T... Show More

They work perfectly for me
With their sleek design and a cable that really doesn’t tangle ...I’m loving these simply for how easy they are to use. Sound quality becomes ever so slightly tinny when the volume is on the highest setting, but it’s so loud I wouldn’t recommend anyone damage their ears so that’s not really a con. To someone who isn’t a professional, but loves and understands the clarity of musical beats, these literally don’t have anything wrong at all. They sounds great with both slow songs and upbeat ones.

Comfortable earbuds which stay in your ears
One of the key features of these earbuds, is the “Off-Axis technology that provides an angled port into your ear, optimising comfort, stability and acoustic performance”. After trying these earbuds, I would say that all of this is true. The quality of the sound is good. It has a microphone, and the flat cable does help it tangle less. The only thing that I don’t like about these earbuds, is the picture of the skull (on the end of the earbuds). But apart from that, these are good earbuds.

Nice earbuds but the cable might be an issue
I like these earbuds and they sit in my ears comfortably, and they came with a bag of various size inserts which is great. The sound quality is really nice especially for the price and the noise cancellation is top notch. The only thing letting these down is the cable. Whilst the length of the cable for me isn't a problem (it fits from my ears to my pockets easily) it IS a bit shorter than other cables which may be problem for some. Good earbuds but if you need a long cable maybe look elsewhere

Good for the price we pay
Sound is good not the greatest.. I rather use Samsung phone headphones sounds better however for the price for this headphones it's worth it. Only downfall is the headphone don't stuck in the ear keeps falling out I've tried using all the other ear connectors however still falling out. Stays in the ear for little time then falls out. I can hear the wire rubbing when I walk so don't wear to walking purpose. Not the nest headphones but your average. Sound could be better but Its okay I guess.

Excellent (nervous about long term durability)
The fit of these earphones and the sound are excellent. I've used them for the gym and some longer conference calls with no problem. The standard buds fit my ear, so I didn't need the sizes smaller or bigger which come in the packaging. I use these earphones on a flight and they were excellent. The multi-function button broke on the first pair of earphones in about 2 months of use, and were replaced by Argos without any problem. I've already recommended these earphones to some friends.

The sound quality terrible no base/bass
Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 In-Ear Headphones - Black. Terrible earphones constantly fall out "could be my ears' bought after reading reviews about how good they were and the clear sound and good base/bass. What I have is a poorer quality sound than a pair of in ear headphones from a pound shop minus the mute tab. That comes in handy but otherwise don't buy these. Sound has to go up quite high but then it becomes shrill. Asked below for my main use of the earphones - listening to music!

Affordable, comfortable, sound good
These headphones don't have the showy details of more expensive brands, but they look good enough. The buds are flattened, not circular, so they fit well and don't easily fall out. The in-line control has just one button, for play / pause and next / prev track with multiple clicks. No volume control. But that's normal at this price for wired headphones. Sound is more balanced than JBL headphones: less bass, more top frequencies. Pleasant to listen to for long periods.

My favourite brand
I've been an avid fan of Skull Candy for years now, my favourite has always been cushioned in ear buds because they have always been most comfortable for my ears and I find they are very noise cancelling which is great for me when I am having a really off day and need to drown out all other sounds. Nothing compares to skull candy so I will always buy another pair of Skull Candy after maybe two years because when looked after properly they do last and I love that about them.

Budget pair of in-ear headphones that outstanding
No other pair of budget in-ear headphones compares to this one. The crisp sound quality offers rich deep bass that compliments any song. They are comfortable and they come with a smaller size of buds which make them perfect for adults and children. You will be able to enjoy what you are listening to without interruption or any interference thanks to external sound being blocked. It is easy to use due to in-line controls and microphone. I would recommend it.

Sound good, cable is a bit short, not great build
These are one of the better earphones from Skullcandy in my experience. The issue with most I tried, is the headphone plug is not reinforced and you will notice one earphone die after a couple of weeks. This set has survived so far with just a few issues with the microphone. If you need a cheap pair of headphones for indoor/light use, they are excellent and sound great. But if you require something to survive daily pocket use, look for more quality options.

Always been a Skullcandy fan
The earbuds fit perfectly but also have a smaller set of buds in the box in case you need them. The sound quality is very good across the range with clear highs and responsive bass reproduction. The microphone works well during phonecalls and the single button control feels like it's built well & has a nice positive switch to it, which can often be a failure in these types of phones. All in all, they're extremely good earphones for the price.

Wastage of money if you have music sense
Dont want to waste my time even on writing review for this horrible product. Briefly, poor sound quality and very bad fitting in ears. Sound is for some reason very uncomfortable to ears and u cant hear music for longer. So poorly designed that never sit longer in ears and keep falling off or moving. As they move, the sound quality goes horribly bad specially bass. You may like if u dont care much about the quality of music or comfort.

Waste of money
I HATE these headphones! They don't fit comfortably, they're forever falling out of my ears and on the very rare occasions that they do stay in place the sound quality is adequate at best. If you’re buying these to wear whilst commuting on the train/tube, cycling, walking, running, breathing, blinking or for anything that requires even the slightest amount of movement then save yourself the money I wasted and look elsewhere.

Sounds good but....
Sounds good. It fits my ears fine but may not for others as they are big in size, but they do block outside noise. Downside is that they don't come with any extra earbuds as sometimes you can loose them over time. They also feel cheap and very plasticity but all in all good sound and the ability to mute or take calls from them is an advantage some models near the same price range don't have like the cheaper Sony models.

Good sound for this price point
Having bought these for my daughter, they weren't comfortable in her ears, so I've ended up with them and I've got to say, I love them. Good dynamic range, plenty of bass, presumably from the larger drivers than a lot of others have. I'm unable to wear them for extended periods of time as they become uncomfortable, but when I say extended I mean for most of the day during work - for normal usage they're fine.

Cheap and effective
I needed some headphones with built in mic to make calls regularly as my phones speaker isn’t working and rather than forking out the price for apples headphones I went with these and a jack and have to say they have surprised me. They fit well in the ear, don’t fall out when walking or running and the sound quality is good aswell I would recommend these to anyone looking for a cheap decent set of headphones

Smokin' Buds 2 Earbud Headphones
Sound is not too bad although I find bass sometimes overwhelming and not clear. That said these are still better than some other I tried in the price range.Ear tips are oval which is comfortable but there are only two sizes included, I'd say small and medium.Carrying case is ridiculous, it's just too small to cram earphones and cable together and not get irritated. Useless.Overall not too bad for the money.

Niche headphones
I have had these headphones before but in another colour, so am aware of what that are like. They produce a good sound and are universal as they only have an answer button on them. My only problem is that skullcandy only supply 2 types of earbuds these days small and large I find the small fall out and the large are to big luckily I have a few pairs of old unused buds in medium so this is not a problem

BEST EARPHONES EVER
I have had several pairs of these over the past few years, they are truly unbeatable in sound quality, deep bass, ease of use, comfort and quality. A while ago I needed to buy a new pair as the microphone had become water damaged, I went for a pair by a brand that begins with S that I can neither spell nor pronounce that cost in the 3 figures range, and compared to these Smokin Buds they are pure garbage.

Good sound, but starts beeping at 30% charge after ~ 3hr
I got these because of the brand and the stated battery life. After about 3 weeks very disappointed. They sound great. The battery life seems to be lacking, though - I say seems to be because the low-battery beeping starts at 30% charge left. Maddening. So maybe 3 hours till beeping? maybe 4? Could have the 7 hours in the specs, but youll have to listen to beeping for the last few hours.

Didn't really suit
I bought these for my son as he thought that he would enjoy them more than his normal over the ear headphones. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to get used to them as they don't sit well in his ears and the sound is not as good as he hoped it would have been. However, the assistant in the shop (when I was collecting the order) mentioned that she had a pair and that she loved them!

Poor design
One ear bud looks like it might be bent, but neither stays in very well at all. Very annoying to have to keep trying to push them back in (not to mention sore ears after a while). Sadly a waste of money for me. Based on all of the positive reviews, maybe my ears just aren’t the right shape (though I’ve never had this problem with the various Apple iPod ear buds over the years).

Great earphones
Very pleased with these overall. Build quality seems to be very good, along with the quality of sound. No part of the sound spectrum dominates the other. From the nice deep bass to the crisp, clear highs. I would have preferred a right angle plug over the straight plug, so I added that myself. Well worth the sale price of $15.99. Will have to see how they hold up over time.
