COMPLETE GARBAGE! DO NOT BUY!
Bought these and was within the factory warranty and quit working and B&H told the manufacturer was going to reach out to me and NEVER did. I took them to have fixed and they told me to throw them in the garbage. DO NOT BUY and the company will not respond. Can't believe B&H still carries these.

Decent Mic | Good performance
This purchase was not bad at all, other than the cheaper built microphone provided with the unit comparing that with my son Seinheiser unit I was pretty much satisfy. But I can always buy another microphone to attach to this unit.

Great for Video
I use these miss for making videos for my job. I have used the lav mic for internal instructional videos. They work great. The only thing that I found strange is the headphone monitor port. When using this to monitor the audio you will hear static/high pitch hisses. This is does NOT transfer to the video. All in all this is a great set. Its a greate price point for the product.

Great wireless system
Very pleased with this wireless setup. The range outdoors in clear sight is great, I have tested it to over 400 ft in optimal conditions. I got this system because of the line in jack. I record lots of powersports races and I am able to get a line out from the announcer's sound system which I mix in to the camera. Otherwise it's pretty much impossible to record the announcer over the noise. I am also impressed with the lapel mic included- good sound for a budget system. Also the included padded case is a nice touch.

Not So Good...
I use this mainly for interviews, all done within a controlled setting. Unfortunately, after making many adjustments and trying different things (pad, proximity of mic, etc.), I cannot get the audio from sounding as if it's peaking out (even thought it is far from peaking).

This product is unreliable
I purchased this product to record slightly better audio than my camera mounted boom mic. It was reasonably priced at around $225. The first unit failed after only two uses. I tested the XLR connection into a ZOOM recorder the night before I was to use it, but the next morning, it didn't work, and shortly after that, the entire unit would not work. I had to go through the Gradus Group to have it covered under warranty. They were slow to respond, ... Show More

Accompanying XLR cables difficult to remove from cameras
I had a difficult time removing the accompanying XLR cables from my video cameras. I was also unable to produce a tolerable quality sound indoors.

Stay Away
I've had nothing but problems with this system. Owned it for a few months and barely used it. Had to return the mic for a replacement because it shorted after a handful of uses. The replacement mic came a two weeks later and worked three times before it completely stopped working. I've lost over a month of production time because of this and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The Jury is out....
I've only used it a few times so far. But, it seems like the range isn't as good as I would have expected. Close in - works great. But, at a football game, on the sidelines, about 30 yards apart, a little crackling was happening...maybe that field had some interference. But, I was expecting a little more range.

ULW 16 mic
I ordered a set of these mics back in September of 2015 and was amazed at quality of audio that was produced from these mics. After about 3 weeks of using these pics in the field I was doing some editing of a video that I had made and noticed extreme static in the audio throughout the entire film. I had to completely delete the majority of the video. I then called Band H and the gladly replaced the entire unit at no charge at all to me. So now I ... Show More

Different Issues
Cheaply made I bought one based on the sales person's advice. The first one kept not working, and you had to play with the microphone wire to get the sound to work. Once it was clicked to the subject though, there was no guaranteeing, and they would have to stay still to not move the wire. I had it replaced, and the second one gave me problems too. I tested it, the wire worked, i could hear the sound through the earphone output, but then i went to the file on my camera and there was no sound outputted to the camera.

One For The Money
Decent sound quality in close proximity (25-40ft)... Unit purchased to capture audio along with (Tascam DR-40).. Not a bad duo for the price (so far). I would say YES to recommend.

Connection Drops! Exposed channel buttons
I was using this product with my C100 for newspaper reporter segments. I would mic the guest, and it worked beautifully when in a closed close environment. but on two consecutive shoots the connection would break and the audio would cut out in the middle of the interview, and based on that I can no longer trust or use this device. Also, the channel buttons and volume control are too easily disturbed by the movements of the guest when they are wea... Show More

Spend a few more bucks and buy a better product
This is the first product I have ever purchased at B&H that I am returning. I literally already called and bought a much better Sony model that will arrive tomorrow. When I took the Polsen out of the box, I was stunned by how flimsy it was. I plugged it all in and tried it... worked fine. Took it to use at a video shoot and the receiver would not receive. There was power to it, but no signal even though the transmitter was working fine. Very disappointed in this one.

Easy to use, surprisingly good sound
These lavs are very easy to use. They provide surprisingly good quality sound from the microphone. I haven't tested the range of transmission, but it has been adequate so far. I found a great deal of interference in one instance, and wasn't able to find a clean channel, but that's a risk in a heavily populated environment. For the price, these are very good.

Bad receiver pack
Right out of the box, there was no audio output coming out of the receiver line out jack. Extensive troubleshooting proved this to be the case - all cables worked and the signal was tested on both a video camera as well as an audio mixer. Receiver outputs audio from the headphone out jack only, but nothing from the line out jack so we were able to limp through a shoot using the headphone out jack, however this did compromise the audio quality due to level mis-match.

Good back up systems.
Simple to use. Good value for the $$. I use this systems as backup for my Sennheiser systems for video.

Spend more money and get a better unit
When I got it I thought my recorder was screing up because I couldn't get a signal. It turns out the AUDIO OUT jack only worked if you were holding the cable half way out. The sound quality at that point was decent but it was still useless. Spend more money and get a real unit. The case is cheap on this unit and it wouldn't hold up to any real use

Very Cheaply Made
I mounted this on my camera and the mount promptly fell off. It screws in, but the screw is plastic and stripped. So, I started to use it without being mounted. The first time the lapel mic was worn, the 1/8 jack literally snapped off the cord.

A good alternative to higher-priced mics
I think this is a pretty good alternative to the higher priced wireless mic system. As others have said, these mic bodies are made of plastic. I suspect they'll crack upon being dropped. Also, the lav. mic cable is really thin. I can foresee this being an issue down the road. Having said that, I think if you handle this system with kid gloves, it will do a fine job. I really like the knobs to turn up or down the gain. I really like the ease of ch... Show More

Quality and simple wireless mic
I can compare these to the Sennheiser mic I have. The sound is good, but there is a little hollower sound in comparison, but not bad. These microphones are much simpler to use with easy controls. Also the units are well made of good quality plasitc, but they dont feel as solid as the Sennheiser, which is simply built like a tank.
