WOW ! Incredibly sharp

I was impressed with this lens right out of the box. The build quality seems very solid and the focus mechanism is very very smooth. I have been usinf a Nikkor 60mm Macro for many years now and I think this lens has better color rendering capabilities and seems to be razor sharp. I've played with all the f-stop setting and the image quality is excellent at each setting. I'm not the type to split hairs or shoot test targets and get all hung up on ... Show Moremaximum sharpness or technical specs...I just use the lens and look at the results...and the results I see tell me I've made a good purchase. Only little thing id that there was no lens shade like you get with all the other Lumix lenses I have. Money well spent in my opinion.Show Less
