using the GH4 for video w/ zoom lens
I have recently been using the GH4 for video, but I missed the power zoom feature of ENG style camcorders. Recently I tried the 145-175mm power zoom lens from Panasonic. This is an absolutely amazing camera, for the money you can't do any better. I use it primarily for video, and the functionality is fantastic. The flexibility in terms of lens possibilities is great. You can find some solid native lenses, and if you shell out the money for an adapter and/or speedbooster you'll be pleasantly surprised with how many more options you have. Underrated for Photos!
I got this for videos, I fell in love with the Stills. SHARP WELL RENDERED IMAGES. Does great at ISO320 and pushed to ISO800. Put a light in your shot if you need to go further. Love this camera. Neck and neck with the 5D mark 4 for a fraction of the price. Plus Great lenses for the M4/3 system

A great camera for the price
The GH4 is capable of producing really quality images. For video producers, indie filmmakers, vloggers, etc. It is also a great body for taking photos. It is lightweight and offers tons of customization and user-friendly features.

Great for small independent filmmakers

Really great camera - awesome colors
I've been using the GH4 for a while now. I highly recommend it as it is indeed an awesome video camera. 96fps 1080p video sure is awesome and fun. I'm very happy with the colors the camera gives and also how compact it is of course. The only downside I would say is perhaps the low light abilities, going over 2,500-3,200ISO just gives a really bad image. For it's price it's absolutely amazing!

Solid Camera!
I love my GH4, This is a solid micro 4/3 camera, I use it for 4k video in studio and on the road, and opted to get the Battery grip. I now have a GH5 on preorder, and can't wait to see what Lumix has in store for that camera body!

Best Budget Film Camera Out There
This is one of the best budget filmmaking tools out there. I recommend purchasing a guide to learn how to use this camera to its full potential (i.e. Caleb Pike from DSLR Video Shooter's GH4 guide). I use it for event videography as well as short doc-style films. Really Nice Camera
I am very pleased with the GH4's performance. When used correctly this camera produces some very nice images. I also own the GH1 and GH2 cameras and still use them often. The GH4 has its own look and is complimentary to my two other cameras. Fortunately, I found the correct combination of proper in camera settings, lenses, lighting, framing and post production which make the GH4 shine. I would recommend this camera if you are willing to take some time and learn to bring out its full potential. Also, purchasing camera equipmentfor many years from B&H has always given me quality products.

great 4/3 camera for the price
have had this camera for a couple months now and i can honestly say that this camera will totally change the game for people looking into videography/ cinematography. so much options and functions. in love with the zebra/ peak option which helps alot for alot of filmers.

Best Camera
If your looking for a good camera this is the one. this camera takes good pictures but even better video. It can show cinema 4K very high quality video. This camera is great for all levels of users, although takes sometime to get use to all the setting and feature this camera offers but any camera does. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to buy its worth every penny. It has really good battery life and can go a whole day shooting on one battery pretty much. I have attached a video so you can see the video quality of this camera but the entire video was not shot with this camera but most of it was.

A great tool at a good price.
I bought the Lumix GH4 mainly for the 4K video. I have been learning it for 2 months now and testing it with my Canon 5D mkIII. Although the menu is complex, the camera is capable of many things. In addition to 4K video it can do beautiful slow motion (96fps 24P) and the custom mode dial, C1, 2, and 3, allows you to set different ways of recording so you can quickly change settings on the fly to never miss a shot. The touch screen has many helpful short cuts for histogram, zebra and peak focusing so you don't have to go into the extensive menu to turn these tools on and off.

Banged, Bumped, Rained On, Still Going.
I've pretty much got all positive experiences with this camera. It's been used in all kinds of weather from the Florida Beaches (extreme humidity and heat) to Icy Conditions in Colorado. It has also seen use in harsh military evironments and yet it refuses to break. More than I expected!
Once I got this little beast set up for video and saw the results I was blown away! Low light video is really incredible. Shooting in 4K and Cine D results in amazing video. I'm going to buy another one for two camera setups.

Personally, I was worried about switching from Canon to Lumix 4/3. But I have been pleasantly surprised and will not be switching back. Many complaints I heard of this camera actually turned out to be false in my experience: Such as short battery life - Complete Lie. I LOVE this thing! I have 3. That should say it all. If you're looking for a small but very capable video camera, this is a fantastic solution. They made this with a focus on video. The only drawback, I would say, is that it is not great in low light
