I'm using Canon SLR for a while and I was looking for a lighter option that could deliver 4k video, after a long research I've decided to start spending less and this incredible camera is what I found. Very good video quality and lightweight. For photos is not that good but get the job done. Love it as a secondary all around camera.

Fantastic video camera and takes great photos as well!
The best camera is one that you have with you and although I have a Galaxy S8+ which takes great video and photos, sometimes I need a little more professional lens with better depth of field. The micro four thirds size is lightweight and portable, and the camera takes great 4k video at 30 fps, all at an affordable prosumer price.

Loads of features in a compact package
This camera has all of the features I loved on my Lumix G3, some have been improved, plus features I used to wish it had. 4k video, 4k photo (great feature to play with, just wish they were full mp, not just 8), faster shutter, and one of my favorite updates.. Enough knobs, dials and buttons to put everything at your finger tips!

Absolutely Excellent!
I've quickly fell in love with my Panasonic Lumix G7. Photo quality is excellent, even with the kit lens. I will be purchasing more lenses in the near future, but for now, the kit is very good. Love the versatility for shooting video. I produce local TV commercials, and this Lumix G7 is working out GREAT! I couldn't be happier.

Great little camera
This camera shoots in very low light with great clarity. The auto HDR mode works well and saves time and memory. It is very light weight and easy to use. The menu selections are numerous and easy to set with the touch screen. The electronic viewfinder is the best I've seen for clarity and use. And don't forget the 4K video...

Nice Camera, better than GH4 in some cases
I Use it mainly for PHOTO and Video. First I wanted a GH4, but G7 is cheaper and in some cases better than GH4 especially in low light. It does its job exceptionally, but the battery gives a low autonomy. Panasonic would better launch a GH5 faster, otherwise , G7 will make cannibalism with GH4 , as it is cheaper and better !

Surprised at every turn.
I bought this as a walking around camera. I shoot Nikon and have for years. I have sold prints and done events for years. But the first print I bought of my own work was done with this little camera. It have become my companion on daily walks and it just amazes me at chance. I am not sure I can let this little guy go, ever.

Great B Camera for GH4
Exact same sensor and image quality as gh4 (especially in 4k) but with less noise. Feels much smaller and lighter than GH4. The provided lense gives the cropped sensor the wide angle look that is hard to come by on the micro four thirds sensor without distortion. Perfect companion to GH4 and great stand alone 4k recorder

Best camera that I've used to get back on track in film.
This camera would be a great start up camera for beginners. It's very easy to use and has great video quality with the kit lens. The kit lens is very great and can get multiple projects done at a high rate. It's a very light camera also. This is a price you will not beat anywhere else. Standard Shipping was very quick.

Very good camera
I recently purchased this camera as i want to learn and make some videos not only i was surprised about the video capability of this camera but also the image quality is really good. This camera is super light but feels good in my hand. Still trying to get used to it and so far doing well. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent Camera, Poor customer service
Purchased this camera a few months ago, video quality is stunning and photo's look better then I was expecting. About 1 month after buying the viewfinder would no longer focus and because I live in Canada apparently the warranty is invalid. Had potential to be great but this issue has caused me to change my opinion.

Amazing Panasonic G7 Camera!
Camera was package well! No damages on the camera. So far the camera has taken great pictures and the quality of movies are ultra HD. Modes are easy to understand and easy for settings. One con is that the shoulder strap can often fell and you have to fix it. Other than that this camera is a beast! I recommend it!

Great purchase!
I researched cameras for several months. This one had everything I wanted in a light weight package. The 4K video allows me to pull still images later to use. I don't miss anything. I mostly take action shots indoors. I am a total novice camera user and this camera makes me confident that I am getting a good shot.

Lumix G7 small big camera
I use it to make content for websites and social media. Great to have a 4k camera at a very nice price. Great image quality, well designed vintage style. What was a surprise for me its the plastic body, it feels quite a toy, I expected a tought material but I understand if you want more pro body you should by GH4.

Great little camera
Wanted a small camera to lug around when travelling. Coming from Nikon Dslr I also wanted something with good/better video. This camera is unbeatable for my purpose. Light/small easy to use, great video, and more than acceptable photo quality. Really amazed by this little camera and in general of the m43 world.

LUMIX g7 a hit with me
I've only had several days to photograph with this camera but I am quite impressed particular with the vide quality. This camera is not for a novice, however. There are many options on the menu. Many which I haven't really tested. One needs to read the manual multiple times to get the most out of this camera.

Best Video for This Price Level
As its big brother GH4, G7 provides 4k and high quality videos. It has many customizable buttons which is very well. Although it has no headphone jack, no live hdmi output, no sealing, not high quality material, it is the best for this price level. Also its lightweight is perfect for drones and gimbals.

Much faster
I got the G7 to replace my older G2. I generally use the camera in Bracket mode (several under-exposed and several over-exposed shots) and the G7 compared to the G2 is MUCH faster. I can take a 7-exposure bracket shot with the G7 in much less time than the old G2. The photos are crisp and in focus.

A fine little 4K camera with some limitations
While the G7 has a nice, sharp image with some exposure control, you cannot monitor sound, and you cannot turn off menu displays in the HDMI signal. We are using this camera in studio at a lifestyle website, so it's great for some extra coverage for web stuff, but I wouldn't use this on location.

Great go to camera
This is my go to camera when I don't want to carry around my Canon 70D. The G7 offers 4K picture taking and 4K video. The menu is pretty easy to follow and the camera was easy to set up. Still I have a lot to learn. But being smaller and lighter the G7 is my choice as a backup to the 70D.

Bokeh? Here's bokeh for you!
For those of you who keep saying you can't get decent narrow depth of field shots with micro 4/3... This is taken with my G7 and the Panasonic 42.5mm F1.7. I would have given the G7 five stars if it had in body stabilization, but for the money it is certainly an impressive camera.

Lightweight heavy hitter
This is a very capable camera with great ergonomics. The autofocus is very fast and accurate. The kit lens is very sharp. Panasonic should replace the strap mounting points with 1/4-20 threaded holes, which could be used to attach a strap mount or any number of other things.

Excelent camera!!
It's a one of a kind piece of machine. I use yo take video on a Canon 6D, and the G7 has made my work easier. It's way lighter and 4K is just a delight. Crisp images all the way? Fast focus and swivel screen makes hard to shoot angles very easy. I give this camera 5 stars.
