This is my fourth Panasonic Lumix camera and it is truley a gem of a camera. If a SLR is just to much of camera for you to carry around than the DMC-FZ1000 is the camera for you.

Excellent Camera
Large diameter lens provides true color rendition. On auto: has a function under certain conditions where it takes several shots and combines for one great photo - love this.

GREAT CAMERA
Many features and I am still learning. Down load the Panasonic PDF Advanced manual from their website. YouTube videos are a good way to learn. The camera is very responsive.

canon killer!!
this is the absolute canon killer! it does it all and i don't need to do a lens change per scene. i use 4 of them on a multi camera, low budget interview show. enjoy.

Great camera
Takes great pictures at a good distance and close up without a lens change. Don't like the way that to auto focus you usually have to take a picture or two.

Very nice camera
Good Image Quality, 4K(UHD) supported, fast auto focus etc, this item has many good points I favorite it and I am in need of wired remote zoom.

Wonderful Camera

Love this camera
Love the 4k video. Great pictures also. Can be set to do a burst of 50 shots per second. Love the range from 25 to 400 mm.

I would buy this camera over most everything out there.

i would not buy the fz 1000 again
the camera was ok,but i would not buy it again,it was fun to shoot ,but it was no sharper than my panasonic fx 200not

Steep Learning Curve for Novice
