I gave it 3 stars because it is a basic disc drive. Nothing fancy. No wow factor. The drive worked right out of the box without any problems. I used it's basic feature to read software disc to load onto my computer. My operating system is Windows 10. No problems. No concerns. I bought on the cheap and I have no regrets.

For USB 2, this is fine. It is a bit loud, however, but for the price and its nice design, I do not heavily use this and don't use it to watch DVD's. Definitely worth the price, and looks fine with iMAC.
