great display!
i'm coming from a 27 2K display (2560x1440) with a TN panel. i find this LG display MUCH easier on the eyes, partially due to more adjustability of color and light, partially due to the IPS panel. is it less crisp than the 2K display? yes, but i'm also finding that i can sit farther away from it more comfortably, so i don't particularly notice the difference as much, and what i *do* notice, i don't mind. it boils down to personal preference. i fi... Great monitor for a non 4k computer
My computer is a Mac Pro tower from 2011. I stacked it out to the hills so it runs amazing and I can edit 4k video on it. The problem is the computer itself is not capable of presenting 4k monitors. Solution....the LG 34 inch 21:9 screen. It allows me to have 2560x1080 resolution, so better than 1920x1080 resolution which makes everything on the screen smaller for more real-estate. Nice Monitor. Horrendous Driver.
I really like the monitor. It's bright, the colors are nice, the image is sharp, it has a solid feel to it, and they included an HDMI cable. There's no height adjustment; but hey, at this price, there will be some trade-offs. There is an adequate tilt adjustment. Requires HDMI from your PC - not adequately disclosed!
There are several 34 LG monitors available. This model was attractively priced, but the warning given in the instructions - that a direct HDMI feed is required to ensure proper use - is not adequately disclosed. Both my new Surface Pro, as well as my 3-year old Dell Optiplex 9010, do NOT have HDMI outputs, and required adapters. This Monitor Changed My Life!
Just plugged this baby in last night and oh my.....my life will never be the same! Theres just so much space, so much amazing, beautiful space. These LG ultrawide monitors are fantastic. Color, clarity, functionality, etc etc etc all great. The reason this got 4 stars is probably unfair, but IMPORTANT. 34 inches is a bit too big for 1080p FOR MY SETUP. That is to say I like my monitor to be about 12-16 inches from my face, and at that distance, the 29" version of this same monitor is better (for me), not to mention way cheaper when I got it. I love this monitor.....
I unpacked it, put the stand together in about 5 minutes, plugged it in, downloaded freesync and wow... The picture quality is outstanding, clear and brite. I was a little apprehensive about the split screen but it worked just as advertised. I use it for estimating. I can keep a spread sheet up on one side and pdf's of shop drawings on the other side. No more opening one program and switching back and forth. I've only had it a week so I'm not sure of the longevity but I'll come back and post should a problem arise.

Great budget monitor
For the price, this monitor is fantastic. The picture is great, and the ultrawide resolution really does feel like having two monitors. One word of caution though. I bought this monitor because I really wanted to be able to split the screen between two different inputs (my PC and work laptop). LG calls this feature picture by picture or PBP. This monitor does not support PBP. It's not a huge deal, but it was a feature I thought I was getting, and it is not supported by this particular monitor.

Good monitor, but the control dial broke right away.
This monitor is great but the control dial broke only after a few minutes of use (which is the only button you can use to access the settings). So I can't even access the settings anymore unless I get it replaced... Pros: - Freesync - IPS - Very large Cons: - Very wobbly stand - Control dial broke only after a few minutes of use, so I cannot access the settings for the screen. I tried using the software included but it doesn't go into that much detail so I'm stuck with the stock settings...

Everything I was Expecting
I am currently training/learning to become a software/web developer and this works beautifully for multitasking and having multiple windows open for code and tests. I got the monitor at a discounted price when B&H was having a sale one weekend so that only sweetened my experience even more. It's a beautiful monitor and I haven't been let down thus far. Highly recommend this monitor if you're not looking to spend a lot of money and want a high quality product.

LOVE!
Not only is B&H super competitive in pricing, shipping is super fast! WOW-I am impressed all around...this monitor is top notch and I am thinking how did I survive this long without a large monitor. Set up is easy and everything about it is top notch. I didn't want anything too crazy, I use this in my home office and it EXCEEDS all expectations. Highly recommend! More space to spread out!
I don't play games on my computer, but I needed extra screen area so I could have Visual Studio and a web browser visible at the same time. This monitor has worked perfectly for my use. Text is clear, stupendous price, zero problems. As others have mentioned, there is some extra black boarder on the glass that is not part of the display area. I don't mind, I barely even notice it.

Outstanding Versatile Monitor
This monitor has exceeded all expectations. The size makes having two monitors obsolete. The monitor also has numerous selectable screen partitions that allow for side by side, four screens, etc. Clarity is outstanding from all angles. The monitor itself is highly aesthetic and upgrades any office. Price was right. I refer this monitor to all of my friends and business associates.

excellent monitor
Good, bright monitor, excellent color, easy set up and menu navigation. This is my first wide monitor and the additional real estate is surprisingly useful. I use this with my MacBook Pro and I can now have full windows open from several apps open across both screens - it really adds to efficiency and not needing to keep docking windows or hitting F3 as much. Thumbs up!

Good Monitor - but very basic
Excellent monitor for the price...but you only get 2 hdmi video inputs, and nothing else. good monitor with excellent resolution and color balance.I bought it because it was cheap and at a sale price. If you are really into video and photography spend the $$$ and get a higher grade model with more input and output jacks. I would also get a curved screen version.

Pleasantly surprised. Great Value.
I got on black friday price, was concerned before ordering that the2560x1080 in a 34 ultra wide wasnt going to be sharp enough but was pleasantly surprised that it is ok. IPS and FreeSync is nice at this price. Once I get a AMD graphics card Ill benefit. As of now, as a second monitor attached via a gtx1080 Im more than happy with it at $215.

Great Monitor for the price!
I love this monitor. I use it for video editing and light gaming. It's great for video editing because the wide screen allows you to fit the entire timeline for most projects in the window without having to zoom in and out as much. The lag for gaming isn't noticeable with the games I play. I would buy this monitor again.

Great buy
This a great ultrawide 1080p monitor. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and playing games are so much more immersive. Reading text isn't that bad either. My only complaint would be that it has a bezel on the bottom of the screen. I wish the bottom of the frame meet the bottom of the screen so it covered the bezel.

Seems even larger than it is...
I've been editing video using NLEs since the early 90s and I've always had two monitors. This really feels like three monitors side by side. The color looks good and the viewing angle is very good. All around great purchase, I think I'll replace all of my two monitor systems with this one.

Awesome setup now!
Once I got the correct video card to display the new monitor properly, it worked flawlessly and looks amazing! I use it now as a 2 monitor setup with the OnScreen Control and a third monitor that I still had working. Colors are rich and brightness is perfect. Would buy again for sure

Solid Choice
spent A couple weeks on the internet looking for an entry level ultrawide WITH a 21:9 aspect ratio. This monitor suited all of my needs. Gaming is crisp, colors look great, shipping and customer service through B&H was ideal. Good product. Will definitely come back to B&H again.

Great Monitor
I used to be a 2 monitor person but now after taking a chance on this monitor, I have gone back to only 1 monitor. This is a wonderful gaming monitor but also a great monitor for working on documents as it is big enough to allow more than 1 application open at once.

if i hadn't thrown the box out i would certainly return this. My screen looks blured, it seems like i need prescription glasses. I asked my 13 year old daughter if she liked the image and she said the same thing. terrible. good size but a piece of waste

The monitor will no longer work. It just says 'no signal'
