Overheating is an issue
I really like the stereoscopic effect of the video. I feel like I'm there when I'm watching it through my VR headset. I like the fact that it uploads to Youtube so I don't need to edit in a video editing software. It would be nice if Google provided some basic editing capability online so I can put together a series of clips from the same event. However, a major problem with this camera is that I'm getting constant overheating warnings even after a few minutes of use making it unusable. I bought one of the first ones so maybe I got a bad batch.

Terrible Dynamic Range
This camera has the most terrible dynamic range I've seen in years!!! When you point to a subject the sky turns a giant white ball... Not nice for the type of videos I was planning to do... Its ok as a toy to discover the new world of 3d videos, but only that!

it's a nice toy camera
It's small + fun. I do enjoy reviewing the images, but it's not quite as high res as I'd like, either way, it is a very nice way to relive a moment & I have fun with it.

Still Overheats during 4K recordings
I purchased this camera because it boasts 4K stereo video recordings. I was going on an Alaskan vacation and thought this would be perfect to capture the moment. I tested it on a drive to work and the camera's software alerted me to it overheating on the phone app. After 12 minutes of recording, it did just that. I had the AC running in the car and it wasn't a hot day anyway. After a few more issues with the camera shutting itself off, I rea... Show More

Great camera for the price
This little cam does a pretty awesome job at capturing stereoscopic VR video. Works pretty well in low light. The scaling is a little larger than life, but other than that it's pretty decent.

Great Camera
This camera completely changed the way I think of capturing moments and memories. Not for 'photos as art'.

Great 3D camera for travel
I bought this camera for an upcoming trip and from the testing I've been doing I haven't been disappointed. Colors are bright and sharp outdoors, although somewhat muted a grainy indoors and low light levels. The lack of a viewfinder is a bummer, however there is an app to preview, and make changes but for me its easier to just point and press the button. The videos are 100% compatible with viewing in VLC and inside Premiere and DaVinci for edit... Show More

Easy to use, not useful
I was expecting big things based on reviews, but I am very disappointed. It may be easy to switch on and use, but with no way to edit (it isn't recognised by my iMac), it becomes quite useless. If you're interested in VR, buy a PS4 Pro, PS-VR and Garmin VIRB360. Easy to use, results are good enough.

Nice camera, but I'm not able to edit the video using FCPX
Negatives: (1) if you want to see what you take you need to use the phone which is a bit awkward (one hand for the camera and one hand for the phone; I think I'll try rubber band to strap the phone to the back of the camera) (2) I seem to get my fingers in the photos because the stick out front (I need to remember to move them beyond the front plane) (3) I don't know how to put together the video clips into a single film using FCPX (FCPX supports...
