I could not be happier with my purchase. Runs triple A games at very high settings super smoothly, short loading screens due to the m.2 ssd, good ventilation system, slick design. Totally recommend this for gamers/programmers who want a very powerful machine without spending $2000 or more.

Gaming Work
This is the best gaming laptop work laptop for the price. The minimalistic look makes it a great choice for the workplace but the performance allows you to run any game you want at great performance. This will be my primary laptop for a long time especially with the 1Tb ssd.

Very please with purchase
Huge value here, especially with the bundled modern warfare. The RTX2060 is a champ and I love the 144hz screen. Doesn't have all the flashy exterior design aesthetic some people dig but I personally despise. Looks good, great performer.

Super Fast but Battery Burns Out as Fast
This computer is SO FAST and awesome. Love that it has a full-sized keyboard, screen and image quality, and graphics. BUT, man, the battery barely lasts 4 hours. Full charge = 3.75 hours. I don't know what else I can do to improve it.

Everything I hoped it would be
Really a great machine. Beautiful keyboard and very capable graphics card (which is used primarily for tensorflow during the day and gaming at night). Only downside is the battery life. Not much of it unfortunately.

Fast and powerful laptop
So far, this laptop is just about everything I could expect to get from a gaming level laptop. Runs any and all applications I have tried, including some graphically intensive games. Ran smooth as butter.

Great laptop for a great price
So far my only complaint is a small creaking noise that comes from some parts of the chassis (its not a huge deal it only happens if i apply pressure to those areas). Other than that it is great.

Great gaming laptop
The processor is silent and takes care of all the work. I bought a cooler so I can keep the temperature constant while gaming and I have no issues. This is a wonderful laptop for a decent price.

Great mid/high end laptop
Great laptop. Runs every game Ive tried at 60fps on ultra. Not as future proof as some other laptops. But great for anything you want to play on high/ultra settings for the next couple years.

Solid Laptop for the Price
It is a solid laptop. I can run 3D software like Maya and Blender well. I download games from Steam on this laptop. All the games work fairly well. It is compatible with my 4K monitor.

Lenovo Y540 Review
The computer runs well but I do see slight tear in the screen when running over watch on ultra and I also find the temps to run slightly hot but that is ok when you use a lap holder

Best Laptop for the Money
All round excellent performer, no thermal throttling during my time using it; looks distinct enough from other laptops to catch the eye but won't look out of place in a meeting.

Wonderful

Battery life time too short
I received this Laptop on 12/31/2019. No game just normal use duration time maximum 3 hrs. Even new notebook, too short to work.

Good laptop
It's slick and looks good. Only problem is the back of the lid. Dust will set between the pattern lines. The laptop works well.
