Connectivity Problems with Scanning
While the printing and copying functions work just fine, the scanning by either wireless or USB connection has been sporadically difficult. There has been no consistent pattern to when the scans will not connect to the computer. HP Support was practically non-existent when contacted for help. Good scanner. Does what I expected.
I bought this mainly as an inexpensive 11 x 17 scanner. It is working fine for that, as I have made several hundred scans so far. I have used the printing just a few times. Color printing is useless on this printer--there are lines every inch across the entire images. The printer provides automated head cleaning and alignment, but multiple passes on each have not solved the problem. This is on a brand new unit using the official HP ink cartridges, latest firmware, everything set up properly. Excellent with a major flaw
I've only had the printer for 2 weeks but so far it is great! The scan quality is awesome and it prints fast and efficiently. I am happy with my purchase. Docked a star because you cannot leave 11 x 17 paper in the tray without it sticking out 3. The printer is already so giant! I have to leave my 11 x 17 paper on top of the machine and load it up every time I want to print that size.

Awesome Printer
It is everything I was looking for and at a much cheaper price through B&H. The only downside is that I cannot get it to print from my smartphone unless I use a USB cord. That is fine, but it had said I could do it through WiFi. Even though I downloaded the app on my phone, it still does not work. When I get the time, I will contact HP support for some help. Great value!

Excellant color for general business
I have had other HP printers, but the color quality surprised me. Maybe not extreme photo quality, but for business, far superior to what I have seen. And, for the price, can't beat it. We are thinking of getting a second one soon.

Goofy 11 x 17 paper drawer sticks and looks ridiculous
Print quality is fine. Toner is expensive. And the printer looks truly stupid with bottom tray sticking out not closed when you load 11 x 17 paper which it is supposedly designed for.

Slow and very low contrast
Purchased this for my business thinking it would be a great way to print 11x17 images-the speed and image quality does not compare to laser printing by far.
