Neutral sound if that is your thing
Bought to compare to my Fostex TH900 mk2, pretty boring listen in comparison. In a side by side I quickly set the monitor5's back on the stand in favor of the Fostex. Very comfortable and well built, just not my taste in sound.

Great headphones
First time I tried a premium studio quality headphones and I was blown away by the sound quality of this headphones provides. Its an amazing piece of equipment. Thanks Pioneer.

Solid, great sound and comfortable
Ive tried several high end headphones lately with my A&K hi-res player, which I listen to usually at the office. I dont like headphones which focus too much on pumping bass nor too flat, making every Gibson SG sound like a Rickenbacker. Im not an acoustic purist. I chose headphones based on what music I listen to. I own a pair of Audio-Tecnica ATH-W5000 which sound great and are versatile sound-wise, but slightly uncomfortable and fragile to carr... Show More
