I have a pair of Shure SE535s that fit better for running and the gym ... but they can't hold a candle to these on sound. For desk work and reading at the cafe, I have a new go-to pair. These Fostex TE05 have a much larger soundstage. And that soundstage even has discernible depth -- something I thought was impossible with earbuds. The mids are very engaging and the bass goes deep while staying tight and controlled. The highs are clean and clear without being fatiguing. Simply the best.
