Works great- if you don't count that it came with... a defective power cord of all things! Luckily, old cord did the trick. Helluva difference for editing photos from 19in screen!

Nice inexpensive monitor
I researched what would be a good computer monitor for my Photoshop work, Being retired, I wanted something inexpensive. Each day I use it I am pleased I have it.

Bought because of the good reviews. It's a decent monitor, but doesn't have the ability to adjust like i thought it would. With a calibrator it may be but haven't bought one yet. Without a calibrator you are limited to just a few options and they are not very good. Had to go into my pc monitor adjustments to get it close to my satisfaction.

Slight yellowish tint
I believe it has a slight yellowish tint. It's been calibrated with spyder. Not sure if it is a problem of the monitor or if it is just the way it is.

Loved it so much that I purchased a second one
Thirty- and twenty-seven-once screens seems too large for me. I purchased my first U2412M after spending hours studying specs and reviews. I purchased my second one a week ago. The stand is terrific. The height adjusts easily and it's east to rotate the monitor from landscape to portrait mode.

Perfect for it's price point
I needed an extra monitor for video editing to work alongside my MacBook Pro and this one met all my expectations - good price, IPS panel, matte screen. While it's not as sexy as the Apple displays, it's a great value and does exactly what I needed it to do.

Beautiful picture for the money
This was an upgrade in the man room from a 40 720p 60Hz to beautiful and crisp 1080 @ 120Hz. Great picture. In addition I used to have a hard time picking up many of the HD channels. Always thought it was the cable company's fault (they're so easy to dislike). Yet with my new LG EVERY channel comes in clear. Wish I had purchased this a few years ago.

Very satisfied with this monitor
Bought this Dell monitor on the recommendation of a professional photographer/friend who does quite a bit of post-processing. Love the screen size for viewing my own images, and the image quality it provides.

Yes!!! I will buy this monitor again
I use this new Dell monitor with my new Dell 3000 computer, mostly for photography. Very easy to use and hook-up, no dead pixels, great resolution, just the perfect size for my desk top, color was great, a little bright but very easy to adjust. The stand does go up and down if needed, also Im able to turn it 90 degres to the right (clock wise) if I want to, great feature.

Would love to have them at work too
I got 2 of these for home dual-monitor setup to do some office work. The colors are more vibrant than the P22xx dells that I have at work. I find it amusing that I could tell the difference even though I am slightly color blind. I like the fact that the 1200px vertical length displays more content (possibly 2-4 lines more). Instead of using the laptop screen, this setup is infinitely more productive. I was able to set the whole thing up in 10 minutes, all snap and click. These monitors should have come with displayport cables, but atleat they sent vga and dvi cables.

Great Product
Although higher in cost than cheaper monitors, the 1920x1200 resolution, IPS panels, multiple inputs and different viewing angles makes this product a value purchase

Great IPS monitor for the price
I already have one of these, so this was the matching one for a dual monitor setup. These are fantastic monitors. True 1920x1200 resolution, and a full adjustable stand. You can't get a better work monitor in the 24 size.

Nice Monitor
I finally moved up from an older Dell Ultrasharp display that was feeling a little cramped. I have not noticed any dead pixels. The colors seem accurate out of the box.

Regarding Photography Work
I use this monitor for my semi-professional photography work. I have a Canon PIXMA PRO 100 printer & I have noticed that if I print through Lightroom while using this monitor, my colors are true. I haven't done any softproofing yet, nor have I calibrated the screen with my Spyder. The display is vivid & bold. And makes my images really pop like they should. 2 are better than 1
We are a landscape architecture firm and predominantly use AutoCAD and Photoshop. Have found that the Dell U2412M monitors work well at an affordable price. There are currently 12 stations set-up in the office with (2) monitors at each station. We use a double monitor set-up which allows for multi-tasking a lot easier. The color rendering in both AutoCAD and Photoshop are great for our use.

A nice replacement for my dead monitor!
My old reliable Viewsonic finally gave up. I shopped a bit, and this seemed to be at the sweet spot for price and quality. It is. Larger-than-HD resolution (handy, since it's on my edit machine), excellent picture quality, and quite adjustable for positioning. An HDMI input would have been nice as well, though that's really nit-picking.

Replacement for old Dell monitor
Replacing another Dell UltraSharp. This one is equal in viewing resolution. A little adjustment needed to get used to the taller 16x10 screen. It does stand several inches higher on my desk. Not sure I like that, but I do like that the stand swivels.

Good quality and value
Using this monitor with MacBook Pro (non-retina) and a didgital-Audio Workstation (Logic Pro). Took a while to figure out how to get the color balance right, but now working great. Crisp, lives up to expectations. The swivel base is a good feature.

Worth the money!
I've bought 2 monitors These monitors are awesome! There are side-by side and they are identicals (colors/contrast/brightness) I'm using them in a video editing suite, and i have a reference monitor on the side , the image in the Ultrasharp are almost the same! So It's a goooooood choice , a really good one!

EXCELLENT MONITOR AND VALUE !!!
Love this monitor! Colors are brilliant...speed is quick...no degradation between video switching...and my Dell Sound Bar worked like a dream (this was a replacement for my prior 21 Dell Monitor...but I kept the Sound Bar). Overall excellent value...I'm extremely satisfied thus far!
