GREAT SPEAKERS
Replaced my old speakers with these, and they are outstanding. I can't give you technical feedback other than I don't get the base vibration or hiss like my previous speakers. Just love these speakers, music sounds great and I would recommend them.

Expected More
These speakers sound OK but given the ratings in the market and the reputation that Bose has for getting a lot out of tiny speakers, I expected more. B&H was great but Bose did not deliver on expectations.

New ears
High quality speakers are like getting your ears cleaned, every time you listen. Bose is the best. They last a long time. Why waste time listening to inferior sound quality?

Awesome speaker
The sound quality is great and it is very easy to install. Well worth the money. Highly recommended

Accurate but forward bass / flat-ish midrange
Pros: - all hardware & connectors solidly built - accurate sound -- nice definition on solo voice, piano, violin - for $90 -- a good choice Cons: - bass is too forward -- this will be less apparent if speakers are placed out on an open desktop, rather than on a shelf / in corners - midrange is a bit flat -- details of jazz drumming (light cymbals), softer guitar, etc are all there but take a back seat Comments: - Reference is listening to sa... Not bad
Not bad speakers. I am pretty picky about sound and previously had a $50 set of Logitech cheapo speakers. I think they performed about the same but the bass on the Logitech was much better, although that was because they included a huge subwoofer. For $99, I am happy with this purchase/replacement and like the Bose name. The sound quality is pretty good, base is decent, and they look pretty good. If you need a cheap pair of decent looking speakers, these might be just right.

Great Bose quality
I use these for my MP3 player as earbuds are uncomfortable for me to wear. You cant beat these for the price! I haven't turned these up loud yet nor do I intend to. They are very simple to set up and use, it took me longer to unpack them. I'm very happy.

Very good for background listening
At $99, these speakers are a good buy and give you clear, crisp, decent sound, even without a strong bass component and without the ability to adjust bass-treble balance. They're perfect for background listening while working on the computer, but would probably not be great for a dedicated music-listening experience. That said, I'm glad I bought them because background listening is exactly what I use them for.

Bose Companion 2 Series 3 spkr
Theyre very good speakers. I use them for an old shelf stereo system and they put out a lot of oomf in sound. I like that they have a turn-off knob. The series 2 did not.

Perfect for desk top.
I went back and forth with the other Bose speakers for 299.00. Read everything on both of them. The speakers are AWESOME for 99.00. I am so glad I have these and saved 200.00. Highly recommend.

compact and adequate
I am basically happy with these speakers. They give good sound and are easy to use. They do not take up too much room on the desk.

Good Computer Speakers
Very nice pair of speakers for use with my desktop computers. As always, B&H service on delivering the speakers was excellent!

Cant Beat the Sound/Price Combo
This is the second set of these I bought. I use them as bookshelf speakers and they sound amazing for the price. With dual audio in, I am able to connect an Amazon Echo Dot and a Google Chromecast and use either. These speakers are a much better sounding alternative to more expensive Bluetooth speakers and smart speakers.

passable
There is nothing wrong with these speakers, but they arent terribly interesting either. Kind of thin sounding. If you want something with some bottom end, these are not them. There are lots of better options.

Good sound
These Bose speakers were the recommended choice on B & H's web site for the Favi projector I recently purchased. With a 25' RCA cable the speakers could be place at the movie screen in my small theater room. Sound is much improved over use of just the built-in speakers on the projector

Simple and good sound
Good sound. Volume good for me-(-not enough for folks who like it booming). Just what I wanted. I use it for mostly for classical music and for voice assisted reading for friend.

I adore these speakers
Stunning desktop sound quality when plugged via AUX in to the rear audio out port of my FiiO E10K DAC/Amplifier. The smooth volume knob, small size, discrete look, nice build quality, and shockingly loud but clean sound are a win for me. Bose headphones are awful, but these are no joke the best desk speakers I have had the pleasure to use. Fantastic for every genre of music I throw at them, and also great for watching entertainment. Tiny speakers give great sound.
I always wondered why Bose cost more than the competitors. Now I know. These tiny speakers sound great. I used to have an ElectroVoice Georgian. These are nearly that good.

Good reference speakers
I was looking for compact speakers with no tone control to better judge the aural fidelity of my podcasts and other audio files. Besides a flat frequency response, these speakers include a headphone jack and volume control. They're also very reasonably priced. Just what I wanted.

Excellent computer speakers
These speakers sound great. Of course, they are not surround sound. But they are a real improvement over the cheap speakers that I have been used to.

More low quality gear from the new Bose
I bought these to replace Logitech speakers. They were far superior. These have shockingly weak amplifiers. As you can see, there is no EQ knob. There is no indicator light to show whether the power is on. I would call them inadequate junk. To be quite clear about Bose, for decades I owned Bose 901 Series II speakers with my high end stereo system. They were magnificent speakers. The other Bose speakers in those days were also excellent. Well, those days are long gone. Don't buy these. You'll do better with a Logitech set each unit having two speakers and EQ.

Probably wouldn't buy again
These speakers sound good and are easy to set up. Disappointingly, they stopped working after 6 months. However, Bose replaced them within two weeks and free of charge.

Good speakers for desktop computer
This is an affordable solution for decent sound for a desktop computer. They are compact with enough bass to make listening to music realistic. Not so thumping that it will disturb the next cubicle. You know Bose has good sound. These plug right into the line out port. Handy volume control knob on the front of right speaker. Light weight boxes with good stereo separation.

I will definitely buy these again
I purchased these speakers to use with my laptop. I listen to a lot of music, awesome sound! I highly recommend these!
