Excellent Value
I used this to record vinyl from my stero to a laptop PC. Very simple to connect to my system and simple to configure on the PC. Sample rates are not as good as you can get on much more expensive products but the quality of the recordings sound as good to me as the records they were made from. For professional use, I would choose a more expensive product, but for my purposes, this is a great value.

Too much latency
Although I have no comment on the quality of this device (didn't really have a chance to test it), the latency of the audio make it unusable for the intended use. I wanted to use it as an audio Interface to do recording. This device may be great to digitize audio, but there is a 200ms delay between what goes in and what comes out.

Well worth the price.
This is an excellent product which I highly recomend to anyone wanting to transfer audio files to a computer. With this little device I was able to change a rare audio tape to an absolutely flawless CD although it took some effort, not the fault of the product but with the free software, Audacity and with Apple iTunes. The tape I was trying to convert, being out of print was available as a CD for a price two to four times the price of the UCA 202... Show More

Does what I needed it to do
I use it to transfer my 8 track recordings on my analog machine to my computor. It seems to do the job.

Nice Product
Used to transfer recordings from a 4-track tape recorder to a laptop. 4-track RCA outs to UCA202 RCA ins, UCA202 to laptop via USB. Easy as can be. UCA202 also has RCA outs and headphone jack.

Great for Laptop without Audio Inpu
We are doing live audio broadcasts and record a lot of audio clips for the broadcasts. We have used a Mac Book that has an audio input 1/8 and connect our Behringer mixing board to it. To be able to use my HP laptop, we bought the UCA202 for that connection. Opened the box, plugged it in, set our programs to receive data from the USB connection, and that's it. Works great.

cheap but it does the job
I use it for listening and recording. I outputs to my Peavey 500 mixer and then to Behringer ms40 monitors. It is very basic and easy to setup. Digital output works good. Headphone output is about useless, not very loud. Audio input is good enough, but not very loud. It would have been nice too have input level settings and an equalizer for windows volume control. But at least, you can download ASIO4all drivers for it to get low latency sound processing for use with some audio software.

It is not the audiophile version
I thought this would record audio at the quality level of my Marantz tape deck. Definitely didn't capture the highs. I think there is another version that is called 'audiophile'. I will have to check that out. But B&H service is great!

Good service
As usual this on line purchase was expedited by B&H Photovideo and arrived in good condition half a world away. The produce was a simple device and easy to install. It was not immediately clear which software tool to download from the makers website but it did not take long to work through this and I now have a working recorder of vinyl records. It will take a little while to become truly proficient as the on line manual is pretty basic.

I just love B&H!
The right product, the right price, and fast delivery. I don't think they could do a better job. I was looking for a used version of the Behringer UCA202 because my budget was limited. No luck on the auction sites so started searching for new product. Who would have thought that B&H was less expensive? I didn't. Thanks B&H!

Great Value!
Very easy to use - almost no set-up required in my system using WinXP Pro. Very quiet and clean audio - more than ample power to drive my Sony headphones. Using it with Audacity to Archive vinyl LP's with excellent results. ...

Really god for the price.
It does what it's supposed to. Really nice to have a separate headphone out with it's own volume control.

Exactly what I needed
I needed a device to output sound from a USB port on my iMac to M-Audio self-powered monitor speakers. The UCA202 functions perfectly in that capacity. I have also used the optical output to run sound to a DAC connected to my main stereo, and have used the headphone jack. All outputs work just as described for each of my uses. I can highly recommend this product.

Just what I needed
Simple and inexpensive solution to doing exactly what I want...to get audio both in to AND out of my Mac via USB. I use it to digitize old LPs and cassettes, and also to play the output of my iTunes or audio projects through my receiver. Works great!

Superb & Inexpensive
This UCA 202 is great to use as an external sound card. My friend and I use this product for recording our podcasts to our computers, since most computers don't have a line in for use with a mixing board this is a perfect and inexpensive go-between. It's plug and play and the headphone jack allows for monitoring of what's coming through your mixer.

Easy Audio out/in
The UCA 202 interface works exactly as advertised. High quality audio out from my laptop to home stereo in lieu of a $80 HDMI cable. I have RCA cords and open ports on my amplifier and a 25' VGA cable. Audacity, Soundbooth, and SoundForge all see the interface as a recording and playback device. UCA 202 is powered by USB so you don't have to lug around another power supply. Save your PA - don't output headphone to it - use the UCA 202 for line level audio out! Can't beat the price.

A simple solution to great sound
I use this usb adaptor to record our church services. I tried several different capture devices but always had a hum in the recording. However once I plugged in the Behringer the sound was crystal clear. It installed in seconds with no need for additional drivers. A great bonus is the headphone jack that allows you to monitor the in & out going sound. Has a built in volume control for the headphones. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to record audio on a computer.

Using the rca outputs to a dedicated headphone amp as well as the units headphone amp. For the price, it is a steal. I burned this one in for 100 hours.

They get the job done
We have purchased a number of these devies to use for broadcasting audio of high school sporting events on our website. They take the guesswork out of getting a clean, balanced singal to stream. They do an incredible job at an incredible price.

Vista even likes it
I use this for getting sound out of a laptop playlist then routed to a pro mixer and amp. My computer's headphone jack distorts terribly (impedance mis-match). This little unit does the trick. Very reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and go immediately to the Behringer's site and download the drivers. You may have to disable other sound devices in your computer to get sound output from the interface. Once done it worked flawlessly. Adjustable headphone jack is a nice feature. It works well with Vista 64 bit.
