Fast, but fast enough?
This is the 8 core i9 with 16GB. When editing 4K in Premiere Pro, I no longer get the beach ball. It copes easily with moving clips around and coloring them. However, don't expect the rendering to take milliseconds. Is Premiere allowing itself to use the computer's full capacity? Maybe not. However, overall this machine is seriously impressive.

Best Mac Ever
Had many Macs since their inception and this has been simply the best ever. Couldn't decide on the SSD or fusion drive but settled on the 2TB fusion drive and have found it extremely fast for my purposes. Would definitely recommend that option. Retina display is exceptional and love the added 8GB graphics with 580X. On sale for $1999 is a steal.

B&H Exceeds Expectations
B&H has been my go to for all my photography needs the past few years. From easy online shopping, better pricing and quick delivery, I can't imagine they can be beat. Future Proof
Got this to replace a similar late 2015 model. For the work I do (design and layout for print) it is excellent. Seems quite a bit snappier than the previous machine. Hoping with this higher spec the iMac will be able to be usable well into the future. I paid about the same for the previous iMac and this one is much more powerful.

Meets all my needs
Primary used for editing images. The response and colors are wonderful. It's everything I expected and more. The magic keyboard is very responsive as well as the mouse. Easy loaded Adobe CC and other programs with no problems Very happy with it and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality system to edit images.

Editing beast!!!
Chews up 4K footage...edit, import, export all at blazing speeds. I should have pulled the trigger on the purchase a while ago. Im always worried about the bigger better next best thing, but after seeing this in actions, I know Im safe and future proof for years to come! Thanks Apple....and thanks B&H!!

Great replacement for my 2010 i7 iMac
Bought the base 8GB RAM model with a 3TB fusion hard drive and replaced the 8GB memory chips with 4x16GB Crucial DDR4 modules to move it to 64GB. Memory is much easier to install than on my old 2010 model. Much faster and crisper than the 2010 i7 model it replaced. Great setup for photo editing.

Very happy camper!
Upgrading from a 2015 iMac, I'm very happy with the fast performance of this iMac. I initially ordered a lesser spec iMac with fusion drive. It was too slow to open some programs even after calling Apple support. I returned it (not from B&H) and brought this one. Upgraded to 64GB ram. It flies!

Fantastic iMac
My 2014 iMac was getting slow and struggling with larger file sizes. I got the new one with the i9 processor, 64gb RAM and a 2 TB SSD, and it's beautiful . If I had my way I'd get the iMac pro with the XEON processor, but the price on that is not realistic for me. Love this one - working great!

Nice Update to an Old Imac at a great price!
I just updated my 21, 8 year old Imac to an early 2019 27 model. The improved speed is immediately noticeable, and the sharpness and clarity of the screen is fantastic! B&H's price beat out any of my local suppliers, including my wife's university and the service was terrific as usual!

Beautiful monitor!
Using this new iMac for Lightroom and Photoshop. Love the high resolution 27 monitor. Helps me edit clearly. Overall performance is outstanding. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard are great and hold a charge for longer than I expected. Excellent computer at a great B&H price with fast shipping.

Great price for Upgrade to 27 iMac
Replacing my 10 year old 21.5iMac, this is an exciting purchase. It was a seamless download of my data using Time Machine. In about two hours, I was up and running with all my transferred files on the new computer. Overall, a perfect transaction with lightning fast delivery in four days.

Buttery Smooth Vega 48 video card - 8-core i9!
This is by far the most efficient iMac I've ever worked with. The 5k resolution is so pristine and incorporating the high-end video card, I can really zoom in on my graphics to a very fine point. It's allowing me to create higher end products in a shorter period of time. I love Apple.

Love the Display
I love the 5K display. No matter what project I'm working on, everything is very vivid. Whether its text or pictures its just nice to look at it. This is my second iMac and everything just works. I've yet to have a problem. I only bought a new one to take advantage of mew features.

Awesome!
Great machine and beautiful screen. Very fast computer. I immediately upgraded the ram (from 8 GB to 32 GB) and have no regrets. Great purchase and good price. Computer arrived in excellent shape. Box was damaged on one edge but the way it is packaged the computer was not harmed.

Nice, but not as fast as I was expecting
Compared to my mac mini (2011), I would estimate its about 15x faster in crunching video, but for photo editing applications, more like 3x faster. Nice, but not worth the coin shelled out. Perhaps I should have delved deeper into the basis for the benchmarking tests out there.

iMac is always a safe bet
This is my fifth iMac, and since the first one I always felt very satisfied with the performance of this great machines. And it keeps on getting better. The SSD is a great upgrade, and so it is the Radeon Pro 580X vdeo. If want power at a reasonable price, this is a good bet.

Busted
I received my new iMac and immediately noticed a large dark spot in the middle of the display. I took it to the Apple store where they quoted $1100.00 for repair and over a 1 week wait for parts. I'm very disappointed at receiving a faulty product right out of the box.

Enjoyment!
Yes, total enjoyment. This is a beautiful piece of equipment. Everything about this is perfect. This is my first mac. Will not be my last. The display is so sharp, I can use smaller fonts. I use this for graphic arts. Every use is eye candy. I recommend this completely.

I gifted this to my wife.

A Beautiful machine, with some new features.
It has taken me a few days to learn most (I hope) of the new features of this machine. But it has finally trained me. WIIIDE screen, lovely colors. I liked the 16 Gig memory. I use it for email, web surfing, mostly just home stuff. But I think it can handle a lot more.

Solid and Sweet
This computer is amazing. The 2019 update makes it a ton quicker and nimble. I used to need a second screen for my work, and this is so huge with so many pixels, no need. But it is expandable using the USB-C slots... If you love mac, you will love this 27 inch beauty.
