Very good display. Extremely bad speakers!

The display itself is very good. Picture quality is excellent. However, the speakers are simply unacceptable as they make cracking noises! One would expect a $1 speaker to perform better than the speakers on my monitor. I doubt this happened due to shipping as the package was undamaged. I now have to buy external speakers for my setup which I didnt plan to do (the speakers are not suitable even for minimal sound requirements). I took 1 star out... Show More of my rating due to the speakers. This is because the picture quality is excellent and picture quality is the most important aspect in a monitor. If you have the space for such a large monitor - go ahead and buy it. Dont be afraid of it being too large as youll quickly adjust to its size and youll never look back at smaller screens.Show Less
