the t.bone HD 990D
Headphones
Received these as part of a keyboard bundle. They are very comfortable and adjustable, sound is ok considering the low price.

Perfect Product
I Have used this one over 6 years now! 2 days ago I have ordered a new one because i have lost the adapter for 3,5 jack and they are not looking good any more! After at least 1500 hours you can't even hear a difference between new and old one! I have used it on stage so the cable of the old one is looking bad, the phones got wet about ten times over the years and I've hitted them with feet and sticks about 100 times - they are still working even ... Affordable headphones for some drummers.
The HD 990D are pretty decent headphones for a loud environment. The sound is ok for the price but I wouldn't use these for anything else but practising with a backing track. Comfort is a huge issue here. The pair I got has too little space for your ears and after a good 1 or 2 hours of playing your ears start to hurt. Bending the headband helped since it relieved some pressure against your ears. But even after that these are not comfortable - at least for me. Quality is ok. But being made of plastic these do feel a little toyish. The long cable is a good feature.

They cancel out the noise, but that's about it
Bought these so I could practice to my favorite songs on a drumkit. And for that it works perfectly. The sound is not the best and the comfort isn't especially good. But it cancels out the noise, and that's all that I wanted in these headphones. The coiled cable is also a nice touch and you can adjust the headband a little bit. Good value, but don't use these to mix your tracks on.

Very sturdy budget headphones
These headphones are very sturdy and strong, with a feel similar to construction yard ear protectors! They are comfortable, if a little heavy, with a decent length of cable. I would say these headphones are perfect for giving to a drummer really because they do provide decent noise cancelling, so the drummer can hear the track you are feeding him. In my case I am mostly feeding a click, which never bleeds through the mic either, so that's goo... Show More

Good value headphones, durable construction
I have those headphones for almost 5 years now, using them while playing guitar at home (plugged into a small solid state amp at first, now into a dummy load that goes into a 22W Fender tube amp). Sound is accurate, the design of the speaker helps not to feel my ears pushed. I've also used them while playing bass, that works well. Isolation vs external noise is very good, as the headphone size is generous and the head pice holds very tight... Show More

Cheap but still worth it
These headphones cancel the noise from outside, but after keeping them on for more than 15 minutes, my ears start to hurt. This might be only for me, so, overall, if you look at the price, they might be worth it. If you are not looking for hi-fi quality sound, but very nice noise cancelling, this is the product for you. Sound quality is not the best possible, atleast if compared to other t-bone products.

Well made, but sound tight.
This headphones have a good cost. Very usefull as isolation closed monitoring for vocalist and musicians. But fot sound engeneering I wood prefer semi-open models from t.Bone and Superlux.

HEADPHONES
Not very good sound at all: very 'boxy' but to be fair I expect they would be useful for drummers or percussion artists when recording because the boxiness makes the track clearer in a way but no, not very good sound quality at all. I think they only deserve a 1-star rating.

Great for drumming
These headphones cancel noise very well and combined with their loud volume make it easy to practice play along to songs on your drums. I had bought the vic firth headphones later on but they don't cancel as much as the 990d. They don't sound amazing but that is to be expected at this price for any headphones.

Unbeatable value
These headphones are priced very competitively. They do their job very well, and are very comfortable. I use for practicing drums, where they work very well. They protect my hearing and I can play along with tracks easily. Much better value than the more expensive brands.

built like a tank!
i bought these as a spare set of cans and to be used with future drum tracks as ive not tracked drums with them yet i cant comment on there sound protection for that but generally they seem very well reinforced to block out sound and noise in the environment, sound wise the response and playback is not the greatest ive heard from other t bone cans however for general playback and client monitoring it does what it is ment to do also the (and my ma... the t.bone HD 990D
I highly recommend these to all acoustic drummers, especially if you want to play along with Mp3 players etc or click tracks. The isolation is great and they let through just enough bass to make the drums sound that bit fatter and less harsh. These are perfect for drum practice and rehearsals. Personally I'd opt for proper in ears for performances but they would work just as well if you don't mind looking a bit stupid! Sound quality is goo... Show More

Drummer's headphones
These are the business - we use these in the studio for the electronic drum kit. They are super and well worth the money.

Great budget studio headphones
For the money these things are great. They seem like they are going to last a long time. The build quality seems brilliant. The sound isn't great, but at this price range that isn't expected.

T Bone Steak
Really like these headphones. I love the sound quality. The comfort is maybe a bit missleading as I wear glasses and they don't sit over them very well. However if I don't wear glasses they are pretty comfortable and I would give at least 4 stars. I use these with my mini VOX Bass Amp and they handle the sound no problem.

Ok for drummers in the studio.
First of all: The sound quality is very poor so these headphones are not suitable for mixing or enjoying your favourite album. They do cancel out sound leakage pretty good though so it would be easy to think they should be great for monitoring when recording. Well, there's a slight problem or two. First, they have a very closed/boxy feel so many musicians tend to lift one of the earpads slightly away from the ear when using them. This will obv... Show More
