No Fault Here
This camera is off the chain! I love the way the shutter sounds. And the eye AF is un believable!!!!

Great camera for the price
Coming from A7RII and A9, I find this "baby A9" hits the sweet spots for features and price. Will buy another one soon

Great value for the money
Upgraded from the A6000 to full frame. IT lives up to the hype. Great all purpose camera.

It's a great low light performer
I bought this camera and shoots video great in low light. The pictures look no better than a Nikon D610 or D750 although the video is much better.

The A7 Update I've Been Waiting For
Ive had a great run with my original A7 but have long felt that I could use certain AF, sensor and interface refinements once they fall within my price range. Thats what this A7iii is all about. My older Sonys demanded then rewarded the effort to familiarize and customize the interface this generation takes that to a new level. One could simply morph this camera to suit existing preferences, but I feel it is well worth taking a step back and re-... Show More

Best hybrid camera - well at least for 2018
I had the GH4 in 2014 for the 4K but the AF and low-light bothered me so I got the a6300 in 2015; loved that so I got the a6500 and waited for the GH5 which was disappointing so I waited for the a7III. First day of sales the body only were sold out but the kit lens + body were available for $200 so I snapped it up and got it two days later. Excellent camera. I didn't expect the colors to be better than the a6500 but it is so good to the point tha... Show More

Fine camera but without wall Charger.
This is a good camera but it does not come with a wall charger. I am canon user and i never realized Sony can cut the cost like this until i open the box. I purchased a third party charger as charging in camera is really not user friendly and i dont want to risk the camer motherboard. Touch screen is very poorly implemented and cant be used for Menu. On positive side camera is pack with features Eye AF works really well and focusing is tremendously improved but still not good as canon dual pixel Autofocus.

A nearly perfect hybrid camera
Gorgeous stills and amazing autofocus in video. I always trust that it is in focus and it hasn't let me down yet. This is the best value in full frame for 2018.

Amazing piece of photo technology!
This Sony A7III is a wonderful camera. It's almost like magic when it just knows how to create the perfect exposure...even at night. The sensor resolution seems adequate and the larger pixels allow more light in hence the incredible night shooting capability. The face recognition is astoundingly good. The menus take some patience to learn but are better than the older Sonys. If you shoot people or at night, this A7III is hard to beat, even with a... Show More

since it was on the back-order, it came arrived in my arms more earlier than expected. maybe less then 2 weeks? and needless to say, the new latest sony a7 iii is indeed perfect with much better fundamental functions compared to other SONY models. I do highly recommend.

Switched from Nikon and it was a great decision
I am a nikonuser for almost 9 Yers and recently switched to Sony mirrorless and it was a great decision. I am loving every aspect of this camera from color rendering to Video capability. Its a power beast!!

A design ready for you to customize
I am sure everyone can read about the terrific image quality, ISO range, etc. Prepare to invest setup time to bring the camera to meet your needs. I have the main setup for general photography (eye focus, Auto ISO, manual mode), I have camera setting 1 set for bracketing for HDR (locked on manual exp/f and auto ISO to change the exposures.) I have camera setting 2 set for macro photography. I do not use M1-M4 because they are erased when the memory cards are formatted.

I love it!
I have been shooting DSLR and Digital for a long time, and using mirrorless for a few years. This is leaps and bounds better than the previous generations of mirrorless cameras. This camera finally feels like the ergonomics were designed by a photographer, not an engineer. If you have used a mirrorless camera in the past you will not be disappointed by this new model. Auto focus is fast, the sound of the shutter is very nice, low light ISO capabilities are fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone that is in the market for this kind of camera and can afford it!

Outstanding
I sold my Nikon D750 for the A7III. The Nikon was great but a little heavier than the Sony, and the Sony has incredible 4k. It's going to take me awhile to get used to the different menu system, but the pics are fantastic. Just an all around great camera. Period.

Huge upgrade from Canon 70D
Jumped on the Sony train after years of Canon APS-C bodies. I always wanted to move to a full frame camera and was so excited when Sony announced this (was hoping 6D mkii would be more impressive so I could save my glass). I ordered as soon as I could and am not disappointed! The image quality is astounding. My favorite things about the camera: nails focus every single time, low light performance is incredible compared to what I was used to, 4k v... Show More

Awesome FF sensor in a small package...
This camera isn't perfect, but it's very good at a lot of things. First, the sensor is just incredible. It produces detailed, extremely low noise, very colorful images. The AF system is pretty darn good too. I shot a softball tournament with the 70-200GM and I have only a handful of images that aren't in focus, mostly due to obstacles getting in the way as I was panning and the silly "Pre-AF" function that I turned off. It's at the very least on ... Show More

Best Camera Ever
Sony did it again. Autofocus is the best feature. Price is the second best feature. A solid camera with everything I need to film and shoot.

My best camera so far
Left Nikon and I am a new Sony user. Cant say i fully manage the settings yet. Nikon was more intuitive and logic. But quality of pictures and low light quality makes up for everything. I can now rescue 98% of to bright and dark pictures and even mixed to dark and to bright pictures. Max Lightroom compensation ofhighlights and shadows rescues my bad pictures to a level I never seen. The sensor has stored more info than you can imagine. Picture shapnes and qality is pefect. But colours is more natural than Nikons so old batch settings in lightroom and Capture Nx need to be colour upgraded.

How Much was this camera???
I still can't believe this camera was under 2K! I've been putting this rig through it's paces and so far I'm thoroughly impressed! I'm a commercial/advertising photographer and am used to using rigs costing waaaaymore and the images coming out of this camera are really really good. I've been using the A7III for assignments that require a little more of a journalistic approach because of the auto focus system though. I still use higher res cameras... Show More

Jack of All Trades
It really is a jack of all trades. It doesn't do anything truly groundbreaking, but it does do many things very well at an incredibly attractive price point. For every nitpick I have with the camera I just remind myself how much I paid. Five stars for execution.

Time to upgrade from APS-C
As the reviews all say, this is the best Fullframe camera right now. I am getting great results with a Nikon AIS 24/2.8 lens, and a Nikon AIS 300/4. The 300 in particular never worked well on a Sony Nex 5n: too much shake, impractical as a 450mm equiv. lens. Now waiting to order the new Tamron 28-75 2.8 to have a good travel zoom.
