Great deal
I checked on line with several other companies and this package deal was great. The Sony A 6000 is a very good camera. My wife had a Nikon lower end that kept freezing up on her. Several times in the shop. Now she's taking incredible pics. So much better. She really loves the size, changeable lens, etc. Oh yeah I hit a grand slam with this present!!

Not a photo greek
I am we'll pass my time with technology, but I want the latest version of the now generation. I picked the Sony A6000 because it allows me to add additional features as they come available. Mirrorless is the future and the size and weight will make all the difference in my travels. I wish that I had gotten an additional lens to complete my package

Best miror less for 2014
I have a couple nikon, and was looking to buy a mirror less camera for daily use. After research and talking with some photographer I decided to have this little giant, and I'm not regret at all. This is the best mirror less in the market. Love this camera, super fast and sharp pictures. My combined lens is Sony 35 f1.8 and really happy with them.

best in class
The quality of the photos and the array of options rivals the big cameras that are much more expensive. Plus, it is light and easy to carry on long hikes, and it is far less intrusive when one is shooting in the city.I would have like to have seen it constructed with a bit more metal and more weather proofing.It is a pleasure through and through.

Perfect Camera
This camera was recommended by a friend and a professional photographer We are going to take a month trip to Europe and this camera will be ideal. Right now I am learning all of its benefits. Great size and it makes great photos. It takes some effort to use all its options but that is not a negative. The price and capabilities are perfect for us.

Camera is great BUT!
The camera kept overheating. Found out after I sent it to SONY that it was because of the supplied CB-FW50 PAWA aftermarket battery they send with it messes with the camera and causes it to overheat. Also the SD card that ships with the camera will not work with the camera if you are shooting in XAVC S mode. Oh and it DOE'S NOT HAVE A MIC INPUT!

Setup has been impossible!
I (and many others) have found it impossible to display the OR code that allows the camera to connect to WiFi, or your mobile devices. or Sony! I spent four days on a trip after receiving it and was never able to succeed! Also, on-screen editing does not seem possible, but, then, I can't access a user manual because the OR Code Will Not Appear!

Excellent Capabilities
Excellent Picture Quality and Ease of Use. Use: Landscape & Family. Rapid burst mode and flash recycling. Because of the small size and weight, I can use it for mountain hiking. Not so great: No jacket available. Kit camera case is unusable for telephoto & camera - much too small. The power zoom is difficult to get used to - but not a big deal.

Good Little Camera
I was looking for a camera in the 500 to 700 dollar range and this came up as well as a couple of DSLRs. I chose this camera over the others because of its compact size, which makes it easier to take with me (and a camera is only good if you actually take it to different locations for pictures). The camera also has a decent selection of lenses.

State Of The Art Wonder Camera!!!
The Sony Alpha A6000 gives you more than you deserve to have for the price that you pay! It's a gateway into a new and better kind of photography thanks to it's ultra high tech design and features. Outstanding Service & Product
I'm an amateur and take pictures for a Veterans' Home. Yhe first camera I ordered did not have a viewfinder (my mistake). I exchanged it for the Sony a6000 and am very pleased with the product. I'm also very pleased in the way B&H handled the exchange. They made everything very easy and were able to help me choose the right camera for my use.

Great color rendition, Great low light capabilities.
I've been wanting to get this camera for a while. The price drop did it for me. While I haven't explored everything, I have shot in several very different situations, and I have found the camera to be absolutely on as far as color balance and low light capabilities are concerned. I'm looking forward to shooting for many years with this jewel.

Install a screen protector before use.
Purchased as a quality, easy-carry, camera and it has fulfilled those requirements. Images are great, and capabilities are many. Unfortunately, one hour of gentle use resulted in the lower half of the rear-screen being covered in tiny scratches. I've added an adapter to allow use of Alpha lenses and find the RAW and JPEG output very usable.

great for video using the gimbal
I purchased this camera for it's XAVC-S video capabilities utilizing the 60p @ 50mb for my gimbal. The colors and image pairs well with my main camera the Sony FS5, I also have an a6300 but the 1080 60p from that camera is horrible. Anyways the a6000 shoots great video and takes beautiful photos too. At that price point it is a good buy :)

Brilliant mid-range camera
The a6000 bridges the gap between high-end point-and-shoot and mid-range DSLRs perfectly. In terms of low-light performance, it handily beats a but one or two in either of those categories. And at the current price, now that the a6300 is out, it is an absolute steal of a deal. Loving it, especially combined with the SEL50F18 prime lens!

Great camera for safari's
I specifically purchased this for a 2 week safari with the expectation that it would last me a long time. The pictures came out amazing and the videos are great. For a beginner that wanted to get into taking pictures and videos, wanted a camera that I could grow with, was on the cutting edge, and was compact this was perfect. No issues.

Switched to Sony
I have had a Nikon D40 for many years and was extremely pleased. This camera however is a major leap forward in picture quality, flexibility in shot configuration, technology and well as value. I have had several opportunities to shoot with this camera in varying light and action shot scenarios and have been satisfied with the results.

Great travel camera
I use this camera for traveling and replaced my canon 60D. Image quality and portability definitely is definitely better. Combine it with a 35mm f1.8 lens and you have one of the best street photo combo! One downside is I have to carry some extra batteries, but the 3rd party manufactured batt is so cheap I didn't really care too much.

FANTASTIC CAMERA
I captured hundreds of stunning Street, Macro and bird photos with A6000. In my previous review I said it is Light Weight Good Camera. After taking pictures for a while, I think it is one of the best mid range Sony mirror less camera .The processor in the camera is amazing technological innovation . I would give six stars if I could.

Love it!
Have really been enjoying the a6000 as I use it primarily for pet photography! The kit is perfect as a starter camera for someone looking to learn. It's incredibly helpful to get all the components, especially the memory card, extra battery, and charger. I highly recommend this package for anyone looking to upgrade or switch cameras!

one of the best mirrorless camera
By far, as advertised, this camera's af is the fastest among sony mirroless, and is comparable to many DSLRs as well as olympus models. It has a really good image qualities even at high ISO. However, its af accuracy is still questionable in low light setting. Other than that, you would find this amazing with its af and image quality.

Love this Camera!
I am a professional photographer who wanted a smaller camera to carry around for personal family and travel photographs without having to lug around my D700. Since I already invested in a pro Nikon, I didn't feel I needed top of the line, and this camera was exactly what I was looking for at a great price point. Perfectly portable.

Excellent camera
I bought this camera because I want to learn about mirror less cameras. It is easy to use and has the possibility to customize some buttons. If more information about the camera is required, the manual in the box is not of much help. But there is a Help Guide at Sony support web page. I like the quality of pictures taken using RAW.
