Nice monitor
OK, I took one for the team and bought one of these. I bought a new Macbook Pro and planned to run it in clamshell mode using a big external monitor. Until now I've been using my trusty 2011 27 iMac which I love. Good Product, no real complaints
Giving this 4 stars since I've only had it a few days but am happy with it. I was a little concerned since a couple of people using Mac reported having trouble with it but I've always used Samsung monitors without any problems so decided to give it a go. Dead Pixel
I use Premiere Pro to edit video. Great for what I am doing with it. I bought it in June 2015 and now September 2015 I found a dead pixel in the middle of the screen. I did the Samsung support chat bit and then on the telephone. One problem was that I could not find the model # (S32D850T) of this monitor on the Samsung lists. Best thing since sliced bread!
Forget 4K, get a 32 Samsung for landscape and the equivalent 27 Samsung for profile then enjoy the ultra in viewing. A 970 series graphics card with 4 GB of memory is also an essential. Works perfectly with Ma ini
Using this as a 2nd monitor in a DAW music setup - the Ma ini has a thunderbolt and an HDMI port and the monitors are plugged in separately; worked like a charm right out of the box. 32 means plenty of room for windows for virtual instruments, mixer, effects - the Samsung pivots to an enormous portrait size if needed, which I have not used; it also has excellent flexibility on its stand to adjust height and viewing angle. Not Sure What To Think
This display is amazing. The picture quality is fantastic and I love editing on it when it works properly. The USB ports in the back don't work and connectivity is really frustrating on my Macbook Pro. It wouldn't connect through Thunderbolt on either port, so I connected through HDMI. Great display for MAC mini
An excellent display with beautiful, bright colors. The color settings were nearly perfect right out of the box. This display is very well made with a large, robust stand. It includes a wall mounting plate and all the cables, including a DP to DP cable and a DP to mini-DP adapter (which matches the mini's Thunderbolt port). The Thunderbolt port configured automatically as a display port at 2560 X 1440, 60HZ. I'm using a MAC mini (Late 2012) , macOS Sierra 10.12.3. Once again, B&H had the best price, and included free, next day delivery to Eastern PA!

OK for Picture Only
I used this monitor for 3 days only. After purchase, this monitor went to Samsung designated facility for repair. The first repair was to fix a dead audio jack. Actually, there was sound, but the sound was faint and there was a loud hum. After I received the repair unit, the audio was fixed, but the USB ports died in less than a day of use. After the second repair attempt, the sound problem returned. If you are willing to ignore the sound and the USB issues, it has a decent picture. B&H customer service promptly arranged the return.

Vibrant and Beautiful
I bought this monitor for the dual purpose of using for normal computing and for presentations. I am a flight instructor who teaches one or two students at a time. This monitor is perfect for me to show PowerPoint presentations to my student(s) without them having to strain to see a smaller monitor. The resolution is awesome and the colors are vibrant. The monitor has a great form factor and is nicely constructed.

Excellent value
Ready to go out of the box, I use it primarily for photo editing, revealing and bright with accurate colors if you shoot SRGB... more than satisfied so far, The only improvement I would make I would prefer the USB ports to be on the side or in front versus in the back of the monitor, but that is a minor detail. The images just jump off of the screen, color and monochrome...

Excellent monitor for general use and processing photographs
I purchased a pair of these monitors to replace my 9 year old Samsung 2433 monitors. The factor calibration of the color was quite good, but not spot on. I calibrated both monitors to correct the color and to match them. I used the Spyder5 Elite for calibration. Match to sRGB was 99%. Also, excellent brightness so that there is reserve for the future.

Wow is it big.
Really nice and big and clean/clear of a screen. I was worried it would be too big but it's great for PS image work while having other windows scaled where you want them. Make sure you have some room to put this a decent way in front of you so you can see and use the whole screen.

Wide open spaces...
Love this monitor. I had been working in the 1920x1080 world for a long time and didn't know anything different. This monitor is incredible. Plug n play to my Macbook Pro. Crisp and clear. Has changed my productivity. Highly recommend.

Green/Blue Lines
After about a year (just past warranty), green and blue vertical lines appear, picture quality and shadowing make the monitor useless. Highly recommend HP or LG products instead.

Gorgeous Monitor with budget

DVI INput only supports 1900x1200
The DVI on this monitor will not go up to the full resolution!!! Unacceptable!! Samsung confirmed this is the case.
