I keep outgrowing USB thumb drives. So went with this as a replacement. I also have the 1TB model for Lightroom files. Both are equally fast and light. Also interfaces to Samsung S9 cellphone directly ( usb c to c short cable).

Small, Fast and Good Looking!
These drives are a game changer for me! My First AC recommended this drive to me and I absolutely love them - I got 2 now. The SSD is super fast and the small form factor doesnt take up much room in my bag or on my workstation.

Didn't work for me
Received this yesterday. Connected to my MacBook Pro with current OS. It mounted and then about an hour later dismounted on its own. Could not get it to mount with different cables and two other computers. Returned it today.

Very good device
I have purchase SSD for the first time liked it very much as my work now is much faster but I need to but now more space as 2 T is not enough for me for long time only I got delay on delivery due to non stock availbility

Samsung 1TB T5 portable SSD
Received and used the SSD, small size, easy to carry in travel; large capacity, 1TB; fast, my laptop has USB 3 only, the transfer rate was close to 2xx MB/s. The traditional external hard drives will stay home from now on.

Love having a 2 tb ssd in such a portable size. Easy to travel with... Plus there is added security of a password now. Which is nice, but kind of annoying to have to type in a password each time. Gotta get used to it. :P

Solid performer
I bought these as gifts, I have several of these in service holding images. They work just fine. No surprises or hiccups. Using them with Windows 10 computer and playing back through a high end blu ray player on to a TV

So far so good!
I just purchased this drive, connected it to my computer and backed up some files. So far so good. It was easy to set up. I am not giving it a five star at this time because I have not used it for any appreciable time.

Already bought another
Love using this for my bmpcc6k. On a quick turnaround, I can go from camera to computer and work directly off the drive. Absolutely love shooting into the SSD vs SD. I'd recommend getting the 2TB if you're shooting 6k.

Amazing device
I had the 500GB, exchanged for this one that have a good price, the 2TB is still expensive. Small, fast and reliable. I use it with velcro on my Macbook Pro lid, comes with USB C to USB C and USB C to USB A 3.0 cables.

Perfect Fit
The T5 is a perfect fit for the camera cage external drive holder I use. It has a lot of storage space that allows me the flexibility to shoot in raw and/or pro res. So far no drops or glitch from the T5 so I love it!

Simply works. A BMPCC4K user.
Using it to record externally with the BMPCC4K. Has worked fine ever since and out of the box. Simply format it and youre good to go. A great way to save money on storage using the best codec options with this camera.

So fast and so small!!
I love these drives! I started with the smaller 500gb and have slowly made my way up to the 2TB! They are lightning fast, so compact and now that the 2TB is such a great price you really cant go wrong with getting it.

fast and small
very fast hard drive for quick back up. though it made me some trouble when i inserted a password to it, it stopped showing up on other laptops or pcs. after turning the password off, it became as great as it was :)

Great for travelling with my Surface Pro
I purchased this ssd to use with a 8gb ram Surface Pro to back up raw photos when travelling and photo shoots. So far, so good. It is fairly fast and small enough to pack in pouch with small mouse and power cord.

worth the investment ?
YES if you have the extra $ to invest. I just got this SSDrive recently so its hard to say what it can & cannot do. My purpose for investing into this is to have a safe secure way of transporting valuable files.

A fast as I hoped
The impressive speed (upload/download) is only attained when doing so from another SSD. If downloading or uploading to/from a regular external or internal hard drive, youll not get anywhere near the rated speed

In general, I hate external disk-driven hards drives. I have los t any amount of stuff! My trustworthy G 1T (Hitachi) still working and I manage to transfer 30.000 photo files (375GB) non-stop with no problem.

Fastest... Drive.. Ever...
This drive is what I use to edit everything off of... the transfer speeds are so noticeable for use for editing in final cut. We keep all project files on this drive. HUGE step up from the HDD we were using.
