Outstanding picture quality and features!
This is a very long review, so heres a synopsis. Its an amazing TV in terms of picture quality, and overall works well. Its only flaws are a few hiccups when autoswitching ARC sound with peripherals like a soundbar or blu-ray player, taking a few clicks to get the sound output correct. It definitely lives up to the hype
I still have a plasma television. I love the absolute blacks when Im watching a space oater like Star Wars. I hate the blur on LCD TVs, caused by the response time of the liquid crystals. I dont like how other manufacturers use the LED label when the LEDs are only used to generate the backlight for the LCD panel. Ive been Jonesing for an OLED TV for some time. Excellent as advertised.
Only had for a week or so but the picture is all as promised. This TV replaced another LG. The basic setup looks about the same. Easy. Connecting all device cables is easy. Very accessible. I have a Klipsch sound bar which I use in balance with the built-in speakers. Getting great, full and clear sound. BURN IN & DARK SPLOTCHES
After about a year with this TV I began to notice odd dark splotches in the bottom right corner on any single color background, specifically yellow and/or red. Lately I've noticed a large vertical rectangle in the center of the screen that had the same characteristics as the smaller splotches. GREAT PICTURE
I was super surprised and happy that the delivery was the next day. I was also skeptical about ordering a 55 TV on line. Others had told me they do it all the time. B & H was very helpful on the phone when I ordered this LG B8PUA OLED and their patience and time spent with me was a determining factor for the order. Best picture I've ever seen
I now understand all the hoopla about LG OLED. Stunning picture quality especially with HDR 4k content. The smart remote really surprised me with how useful it is and the voice recognition is spot on accurate. The remote was easy to setup to control all my av gear attached to the TV. Even low quality SD shows look good once you make adjustments. They were unwatchable on my cheap Sharp 4k LED

Outstanding product
I never bought a tv before so I did a lot of research and hoped for the best. I was very impressed by the tv; its suoer think, enormous, and the price was amazing. I also got gifts with my purchase so it really sweetened the deal. I wish the delivery had been a bit less cumbersome but overall Im very happy with my purchase.

Simply AMAZING!
After purchasing a new couch for the family room, decided to take advantage of relocating our TV to above the fireplace. TV used to be located on the wall on the right and viewing it was always though. This set has a great view from any seat! The remote with the magic wand is awesome, very happy with the purchase.

Beautiful picture, fast delivery
We ordered this television and received it ahead of its scheduled delivery. Much appreciated the packing job and speed of delivery. The picture itself is impressive. We use it in a brightly lit room and its really neat how deep the blacks are...definitely recommend the unit and B&H.
