Dead on Arrival
Buyer beware! These monitors looked great, and seemed like a great value. However I ordered two, and both of them were defective. When plugged with provided HDMI cable it would output an image for a split second, but then flicker and go to black, continuing this cycle without producing a consistent picture. I tried multiple computers and cables with no luck. At least B&H was able to accept the return. I will not be going with LG in the future.

A fun monitor, if you are always multi-tasking
This is by far the largest monitor that I have used or owned. It is interesting (and fun) to break up the screen in up to 8 squares to put different opened programs/files into. For me, it has a great presentation, and I prefer this now to any other monitor I have used.

Decent
I paid a bit more than half price for this monitor. Big, bright, ok color. The stand and screen is very wobbly, somewhat uncomfortable. The screen is a bit heavy and bulky, not suitable for moving around too much. Love it for 2k and 4k streaming if you have good internet connection. Overall great price for value.

nice monitor for price
it is a very nice IPS monitor. the only thing I dont like about it is the shiny. it would have been better with a matte screen but it serves well for what I bought it for surfing and streaming. awesome price on it as usual from B & H. thank you

OK , but real low quality
Pro: Well packed, easy assembly, working within minutes of set up. Cons: Very flimsy. Constructed with the absolute thinnest/least amount of materials possible. Dont accidentally topple or even stress this body at all unless you want to destroy it. The structural integrity is dismal. Super Sleek
Nice looking monitor. Hooked up with no problems. We did wall mount and it has a unique VESA set up on the back lower part of the monitor. Just make sure your mount can handle 100mm X 200mm.

LG 31.5 monitor
This monitor was an easy set up and the picture quality is excellent. Just as important is delivery when shopping online vs. in store is the wait. B & H is exceptional, quick order and delivery, never have to wait long.

Big Screen at a Budget Price
I purchased two of these to use with a 40 4K main screen. I need a lot of screen space for music production software. I did not need a full color gamut or built in speakers- just a big screen. Good Monitor - Better for gaming than I thought
If you are gaming this monitor has 250 cd/m brightness. Would recommend a 300 cd/m2 monitor for any gaming application. Inside Battlefield 4 game menu, there is a brightness setting. I thought I was have issues with this monitor, but it was that Battlefield game that was set at only 50% brightness. Good Monitor for Non-Gaming tasks.
If you are gaming this monitor has 250 cd/m brightness. Would recommend a 300 cd/m2 monitor for any gaming application. For Battlefield 4 the brightness is not quite there. Nice upgrade
A nice upgrade from my 20 screen. I got this mainly to edit photos in Lightroom. Really helps to see the big picture. Cons... a little too bright when viewing email, etc. But you can reduce the brightness.

Best Value Out There
I work from home. Spreadsheets, .pdfs, slide presentations, Microsoft Word documents, email, etc...This monitor does all of that well. It provides lots of real estate, a good refresh rate, excellent color and brightness adjustments and ease of use. For $200 this is truly one of the best deals on the internet. Shipping was fast and it was the lowest price on the internet with free shipping. Why didn't I buy this sooner?

Used this monitor in addition to LG 27EA33 Monitor in a video editing setup. The monitor works well, clarity, resolution and refresh rate are all within required specifications. The on-screen adjustments are helpful but not really necessary as the manual joystick setup is sufficient. The PIP appears to be more a kind of gadget, not necessary in my kind of setup with DaVinci Resolve software. The only con right now is the reflective surface of the screen. There is a lot of glare, so I have to darken the room to make my viewing experience optimal.

What a deal!!!
I waited a long time and I managed to snag this at a good price. Easy set-up, good instructions. Very good quality image, well made. All the cables that you need are included. The on/off button doubles as a joystick style device, giving access to all the features. I've been watching Netflix streaming videos, using the cinema mode ... very nice. This monitor is just what I have been seeking for quite some time, glad I waited for the deal to come up; very pleased.

Love it might be a little strong for our evaluation. This review is for quality and set up only, since we've been using it for only one month. Less than six months is insufficient time to comment on or endorse the reliability of this LG monitor (or any electronic, desktop devices). Great monitor, PiP feature diceiving
We purchased 3 of these on a flash sale for our church and use them in our tech booth. We wanted this one specifically due to the pip function so that we could have a video feed in the pip and run a lighting computer on the main part of the screen.
