Very Poor Image Quality, & Bad Auto Focus Not Impressed!!
On paper this camera sounds excellence and I really looked forward to using it. I videotaped an event with speakers on a stage with good lighting. I did not have the luxury of an external reference monitor and relied on the built in flip-out LCD screen. When I got the footage back to my studio, the results were terrible. Excellent Value
It is a very good value. The LCD is the same quality as the 170 that I have as well. I use an external SDI monitor so I can get around the low quality LCD. I shoot many depositions and recently bought the Sony PXW-Z90V thinking the time date stamp would work with the lower MBPS resolutions and it doesn't, so I got rid of it. Work horse ENG Unit
First the two exlr mic unit is extremely great quality and the shot gun mic is better than most others I was used. I trust it better than most zooms and such. The 180 4k is great. I shot through plexy glass displays and was able to capture the subject with no aberrations. The 1080 is great. The unit does great for streaming. Needs so much work
If you do any kind of motion video skip this camera. The autofocus feature is industry worse by far. I have ruined not 1 or 5 or 20 shots, but hundreds of shots with this camera because the autofocus changes while nothing in the shot is changing. Yes, I use autofocus. And I love autofocus. And it should work on a camera of this price. The camera is light and balanced and takes good video if you use manual focus.

Not as Advertised
This unit says it will output 4k on HDMI but its actually only 2k. I purchased three of these to run to a DataVideo 4K unit and the best it will do is 2k. I hope they will exchange it for something that works.
