I am using this adapter to allow a headset that has a 2.5mm plug to function in conjunction with a mobile phone that has a 3.5mm socket. The adapter is sturdy and correctly proportioned. It stays in the socket without complaining, and it is willing to be removed at a moment's notice.

Use Panasonic Mics with Olympus Cameras
I love my DMW-M51 Panasonic external stereo shotgun microphone, but I needed an adaptor to use it with my M5 Mark II camera. It's not bulky and works perfectly without getting in the way of any of the other camera controls or other cables or connectors I use with the camera.

Useless garbage
Maybe works. It didn't even seem to fit my laptop properly, as I couldn't get the shoulder of the plug to seat against the surface of the receptacle. However, it works fine on my desktop. Maybe a problem with jack tolerances, but it looks fine to the naked eye.

Just what the doctor ordered
I bought this adapter so I could use my Plantronics head set on my iPhone. It converted the small 2.5mm plug to the larger 3.5mm plug that Apple uses. I like that it was small and compact. It worked perfectly and saved me from buying a new headset.

Doesn't work. THis Submini to mini
This submini to mini stereo adapter (2.5mm to 3.5mm) doesn't work. I tried to use this for earphones with a 2.5mm male, to go into a female 3.5mm to USB C cable and the music came out distored, could only hear voices and no instruments

Rights a Wrong...
Got this because I didn't read the fine print on a cable I purchased to connect a PW device to my Z6. It works as advertised turning a 2.5mm male connector into a 3.5mm male connector. Hoping Hosa gets into human prosthetics soon...

One of those things you just need
One of those items you don't know you need until you need it. Good fit, snaps on securely without wobbling, works well. Adds very little to the length of the plug and cord. No problems that I can see.

PocketWizard would not work without it!
I could not find a remote cable for my Olympus E-5 to work with my PocketWizard plus 111, which has a 3.5mm connection, so I had to get this adapter to fit on my Vello remote camera cable.

Cheaper alternative to pocket wizard adapter
